Well-Planned Sibsets?

What are some very well-planned out sibling names you know of? [name]One[/name] of my mother’s friends from university had children called:

[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Vesper[/name], [name]Paul[/name] [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Ronald[/name] [name]Marcus[/name], [name]Caterina[/name] [name]Wynne[/name] [name]Delilah[/name]

Each child’s name starts with the letter that starts the last syllable of the previous child’s name. This even works for [name]Caterina[/name] and [name]Lauren[/name], because [name]Delilah[/name], her second middle, its last syllable starts with L and [name]Lauren[/name] is L too.

I just thought this was so cool and was wondering if you knew any families with planned names like these? It could be meanings, themes, word play, etc.

That seems a bit of a stretch, but if they meant to do it and wanted to, awesome!

We didnt plan any of our kids names in mega advance or anything, but DH’s mn starts with a L and mine an E and our kids do too. After [name]Bronwen[/name] we decided to do this so then of course we planned around it the next few times.

I know of a local family who wanted a bunch of kids, started at A and next one was B etc and their last childs name begins with a G. I know another family who has only used surnames from either side of the family and it worked well given the names…[name]Parker[/name] (girl), [name]Sullivan[/name] (boy) and their newest is a girl named Oliveri. Now with DH’s and I that wouldnt work…our family tree has names like Eschenbaucher and [name]Wetzel[/name], lol. They already plan on having one more eventually, and that child will be [name]Ryan[/name] regardless of gender, its moms maiden name.

I think it’s interesting, but for most people, only so much planning can be done in advance. Getting a late start due to fertility issues or having a little surprise after you thought you were done can cause more or less children than planned. I don’t think it hurts to have a pool of compatible names in mind, though.

My paternal half-siblings and I have similar names, but we all have different mothers and it wasn’t planned at all, it was more of a coincidence I think. When you add my maternal half-sister’s name, [name]Isabella[/name], it becomes even more matchy (having the same ending as Gabriella and continuing the i/l theme in all the names).
[name]Zelia[/name], [name]Gabriella[/name], [name]Cilla[/name] and [name]Celina[/name].
