My little sister’s name was changed from [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] to [name_f]Nell[/name_f] when she was 6 months old, to avoid confusion between her and the next closest sister, [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]. My name is [name_f]Lily[/name_f], so the fact that my parents had already chosen a flower name was also a contributing factor in the decision to change it. On all her official documents and the school register etc her name is [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] so she always has to correct people!
