So last week we decided on the name [name]January[/name] (if I have another girl). My Husband and I love how [name]Violet[/name] and [name]January[/name] sound together. However, we still haven’t been able to decide on a middle name. We both love [name]Mabel[/name] as a middle name.
Plus we like the meaning of [name]Mabel[/name] a lot. And [name]January[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] sounds ADORABLE! The only issue that we have with [name]Mabel[/name], is that we are both concerned that it will reduce the spunky sound of [name]January[/name]. What do you all think?

[name]Elizabeth[/name] (my middle name)
[name]Lucia[/name] (family name)
[name]Martina[/name] (family name)
[name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Faye[/name] (one of my favorites)
If we end up having a boy, then I’m pretty sure his name will be [name]James[/name].
Again we haven’t decided on a middle name. We really like [name]Reese[/name] as a middle name. We also really like [name]Riley[/name] as a middle name.

I’m really becoming a fan of this one I like the way [name]January[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] sounds, but have you noticed that it sounds like two months with a -bell on the end? Personally, I think it sounds cute, but I would possibly be mildly concerned about people constantly pointing it out. I don’t necessarily think that’s a reason not to do it, just something to consider. I also really like [name]January[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] and [name]January[/name] [name]Faye[/name] is pretty good too. What about [name]January[/name] Bloom? I’m stuck on Bloom as a middle name recently, LOL. [name]James[/name] [name]Reese[/name] sounds very handsome!
I was getting ready to post how perfect [name]January[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] sounded to me… until I read tk.'s post.
It’s still a [name]LOVELY[/name] name, but I can’t unsee the [name]January[/name] [name]May[/name] connection now. This might not bother you at all, but I think it would bother me a little.
Whereas [name]January[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] really is perfect sounding, in my opinion.
I like [name]January[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] because I picture snow in january, which pairs nicely with a white pearl. [name]Mabel[/name] is my second choice. I don’t think it takes away the spunk, just adds some tradition. Good luck!
