[name]Juliette[/name] is my favorite on your list. I also love [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Violet[/name].

I love [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Vivienne[/name] <3

[name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name] = :heart::heart::heart::heart:

I love [name]Rosalie[/name] - please remember that there are a lot of people out there who don’t know about that vampire movie/book/whatever.

So, Erin and Jason with their children:

Truman/True, Delaney/Laney, Charlotte/Lottie, Hallie/Hal, Spencer/Spence and …

You seem, to my ear, to have two vibes going with your girls’ names. Delaney/Laney and Hallie fit into a spunky, almost unisex, cheerful subset of names. Charlotte resides in a more formal, traditional, feminine, but not fussy, area…but Lottie conjures up the same happy spunk that Laney and Hallie do. Truman and Spencer, obviously, are from a cool, but laid-back set of surnames. And I think I understand that you don’t want to leave anyone as the odd one out. As far as your and your husband’s initials, I really think that if you don’t make a big deal of it, the kids won’t mind at all. If I were you, if I had two choices I loved equally, and one had a unique beginning letter, I’d let that be the tiebreaker, but I wouldn’t make it a dealbreaker.

One of the things I wonder about is how often Hallie is called Hal. I’m guessing from your sig line not that much in public, but I may be wrong. So, I think you need a traditional/formal/feminine name (so as not to leave Charlotte out) that renders a spunky nickname ending in y/ie (so as not to leave the twin out of the sister set) that sounds great with Spencer.

Eleanor/Nora…Eleanor complements Charlotte wonderfully, and I can see Laney, Lottie, Hallie, and Ellie, but Laney, Lottie, Hallie and Nora doesn’t really work for me. Also, does ELEANor echo dELANey too much?

Juliette…I’m a big fan, and it works with Charlotte, but I don’t think it works with the sister set because, for me, it’s the ultimate romantic/girl name. No it’s not fussy like Melissa and Arabella, but it’s romantic to an extreme. And I think that’s fine for a modern girl, but not with Laney and Hallie as her sisters. And what would her nickname be? Julie? A little 1960s, compared to her sisters. Ettie? Too similar to Lottie and Hallie.

Violet…did I mention that I LOVE all the names on your list? And I think that Spencer and Violet is fabulous. Violet, though is not quite as ‘classic’ as I’d like to balance with Charlotte. And again, I’m not sure if Laney, Lottie, Hallie and Vi works; she seems the odd one out.

Georgia…great name and it wins hands down in the nickname sister set. Laney, Lottie, Hallie and Georgie! Hmm, as I typed that I started having second thoughts…Georgie…the most traditionally masculine name in your sibset…but it belongs to your daughter…I think that Georgia does balance Charlotte rather well though. And if Hallie goes by Hal a lot, Hal and Georgie might be cute.

Vivienne…formal, feminine, but I think too feminine. Charlotte and Vivienne, maybe. Delaney, Hallie and Vivienne? A real mismatch to me. Also, not a fan of Vivi.

Rosalie…again, love it. Rosalie and Charlotte–both traditional, French variants. Rosie, cute, adorable…works with the other nicknames. Spencer and Rosalie, Spence and Rosie, I think work. Twilight is a non-issue.

So…Rosalie gets my vote. With Georgia a close second—I’d have to think about the gender thing some more…I might decide I like it best. Eleanor third, especially if the nickname Ellie is used.

Good luck!
