What do you think of just [name_u]Ash[/name_u]? I like the nature/tree connection, and it doesn’t seem too trendy (I have met a lot of Ashers and it sort of turned the name for me). Thoughts?
I think [name_u]Ash[/name_u] can work nicely as a singular name? All the people I’ve known called [name_u]Ash[/name_u] have been [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]/[name_f]Ashleigh[/name_f]'s, and I think with the popularity of [name_m]Asher[/name_m], it could be a nice name without being overly used? The nature connection as well makes me favorable too!
I love it! It’s been on my own list in the past, but we can’t really do botanical names because of our surname, sadly.
It definitely doesn’t seem trendy to me, but then [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] never really caught on over here in the same way it did across the pond, so I’ve never really met an [name_u]Ash[/name_u]. I think of the tree before I think of it as a short form of [name_m]Asher[/name_m] or [name_u]Ashley[/name_u], personally.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] with your other boys, too!
I like it. It’s a very cool name
It’s totally usable! Not my cup of tea, personally. I think it sounds nice with your other boys names though! What would you pick for a middle name with [name_u]Ash[/name_u]? If I were picking your next boys name I would choose [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m] so fantastic! Snappy, literary, outdoorsy, fun- just so good!
I like it, definitely usable, but I might assume it’s short for [name_m]Asher[/name_m].
I really like it and prefer it to the longer versions. I met a businessman named [name_u]Ash[/name_u] and it suited him well. I think it would be a very cool fn as long as your surname is more than one syllable.
I like it! I’ve always liked [name_u]Ash[/name_u] as a nn for [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], or even [name_u]Ashley[/name_u], but I think just [name_u]Ash[/name_u] is really cool too. I think I remember coming across someone on another name site who named her son [name_u]Ash[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u], which I think is really cool.
I really love [name_u]Ash[/name_u], just [name_u]Ash[/name_u]. It’s a great fit with your boys’ names!
[name_u]Ash[/name_u] is a handsome name.
I just think of cigarette ashes, not the tree.
