[name_u]Echo[/name_u] was a Greek nymph. We are a musical / creative household and want a name that is different but not silly.
I actually really like this name.
I have a little girl named [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & was considering this for a possible sibling name.
I met a little girl named [name_u]Echo[/name_u]. I like it.
To me it’s too much a word… if it was only a nymph name I’d be totally on board. I’d totally use it as a middle name if I were you, but not as a first name.
I think [name_u]Echo[/name_u] is lovely!
I actually think it’s a little silly as a first name., it’s just too much of a word in so many languages. It’d make a cool middle name, though.
I think it’s cute! If you don’t feel sure about it use it as a middle name 
My mom remembers someone yelling for their daughter in a grocery store… “[name_u]Echo[/name_u]! [name_u]Echo[/name_u]! [name_u]Echo[/name_u]!” She always thought it was the most ridiculous thing.
I don’t think it’s horrible but I do think it’s too common of a word to really be usable as a FN. Middle name would be great though.
