I’ve been thinking a lot about the name [name_m]George[/name_m] lately. [name_u]Love[/name_u] him to pieces but there are so many others I equally love that I don’t know how we’ll ever be able to decide! Other contenders are [name_m]Albert[/name_m] ([name_u]Bertie[/name_u]), [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. My kids all have names inspired by book characters, all aside from [name_f]Sabina[/name_f]'s, books for children and I can’t get the adorable imagery out of my head!
[name_f]EDIT[/name_f]: Also, what are your overall thoughts on the name [name_m]Harold[/name_m]? He’s been a GP for so long and I really love [name_m]Harry[/name_m] as a nickname!
I like [name_m]George[/name_m] and adore [name_m]Harold[/name_m] ([name_m]Hal[/name_m] or [name_m]Harry[/name_m] nn). [name_m]Albert[/name_m]/[name_u]Bertie[/name_u] is great too. [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are nice too. Such good choices.
Personally, I’d go with [name_m]Harold[/name_m]/[name_m]Hal[/name_m], but I can’t say for you.
It’s a pretty complicated decision indeed, you have some pretty gorgeous boy names on your list and I’m personally stuck between [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]George[/name_m]. I really like [name_m]Harold[/name_m] too, though, I think he’s just about ready for a comeback, as a nickname [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is adorable!
I think both [name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_m]Harold[/name_m] would be perfect additions, but my overall favourite is [name_m]Albert[/name_m] ‘[name_u]Bertie[/name_u]’. He’s just so handsome!
I think both [name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_m]Harold[/name_m] sound great with [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_f]Sabina[/name_f] and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f].
We’re really loving [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Harold[/name_m] and even [name_m]Matthias[/name_m]/[name_m]Matias[/name_m]/[name_m]Mattias[/name_m] right now so it seems that our list might change completely right now at the last minute. Keep the feedback coming, please!
We love having a [name_m]George[/name_m]! I don’t meet many other babies or toddlers with the name, either.
[name_m]Harold[/name_m] “[name_m]Hal[/name_m]” or “[name_m]Harry[/name_m]” is awesome, too. It’s a fave of mine because it was my great-grandpa’s name–[name_m]Harold[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Platte[/name_m].
When I suggested [name_m]Harold[/name_m] for our youngest’s name, DH shot it down because of the “[name_m]Harold[/name_m] and [name_m]Kumar[/name_m]” movies, but I’m not sure it’s a dealbreaker. Especially if he were a [name_m]Hal[/name_m] or [name_m]Harry[/name_m].
I love [name_m]George[/name_m] - one of my favorite names. [name_m]Harold[/name_m] is nice too and certainly has comeback potential, but even with the nickname [name_m]Harry[/name_m], I prefer [name_m]George[/name_m].
