Any thoughts on using the name [name]Larkin[/name] for a girl? This is kind of silly, but my DH and I saw it on a TV about 4 years ago and just LOVED the name. We have since had a daughter and ended up naming her [name]Eliza[/name], but [name]Larkin[/name] stayed near the top of our list.
Anyone hate it? Or love it? We’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts.
I think [name]Larkin[/name] is really pretty! I like it a lot. Like you I heard it on a TV show but I cannot recall the name. It was a show about aliens

I think its a great name. Much better than [name]Lark[/name] on its own.
It was on Invasion. I like it for a girl - much better than [name]Lark[/name] by itself and I don’t think [name]Larkin[/name] sounds like a boy at all. My husband has [name]Larkin[/name] at the top of his list for girls; I like it but it’s not my usual style.
I love it! It’s gorgeous.
It was on our short list for a middle name 'til we found out this kid is a boy. I like [name]Lark[/name] just as much.

I really like [name]Larkin[/name] for a girl. I really cant picture it on a boy. It is not the best match with [name]Eliza[/name] style wise but sound wise I think they work. They are both spunky and sweet imo.
I think [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Larkin[/name] would make sweet sisters! [name]Both[/name] are girly with a little spunk! I also recently heard the name “Larkspur” and thought it was so cute.
The first thing I thought of was [name]Link[/name] [name]Larkin[/name] from Hairspray, so for me more of a boy’s name. I personally prefer [name]Lark[/name], but its not at all a bad name.
I like it! It’s spunky like [name]Eliza[/name], so it would go well in that sense, though [name]Eliza[/name] is more classic/vintage, so I would personally use [name]Larkin[/name] as a middle name…

I’m not too worried about sibling names going well together (gasp!) My first two kiddos names don’t go together that well and it hasn’t been a problem. I figured if none of them sound like the fit together than no one will feel left out!
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Larkin[/name] for a girl! [name]Love[/name] love love love love [name]LOVE[/name]! Would use it in a half a heartbeat if DH was on board! 
I know a woman named [name]Larkin[/name] - I’ve never met a man named [name]Larkin[/name]! It’s a lovely name. [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Larkin[/name] are on my short list, too, along with [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name].
