[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f]:
for my biological daughter or adopted daughter and her nicknames would be [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] or just [name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] because that’s my mom’s middle name I would have named her after her grandmother
[name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] [name_m]Wild[/name_m]:
Nickname: [name_f]Trixy[/name_f] or [name_u]Rebel[/name_u]…idk why I just always like the name lol
I also like the name [name_u]Zaki[/name_u] I just wouldn’t know how to finish it
I was thinking about adopting in the near future so give me feedback guys on these names.
I have one for boys also coming
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] is quite the word name. It’s not quite my style, as it sounds very similar to the male name [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. There’s a very large style gap between these three names.
[name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] [name_m]Wild[/name_m] seems very juvenile; more like a comic book character than a child. [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] is most famous as a book character, but this could be subsided with a more standard middle name. [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] and [name_m]Wild[/name_m] are two very rambunctious word names. While [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] has a somewhat melodious flow, [name_m]Wild[/name_m] just seems superfluous. I’d recommend [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], which, while still zany, sounds more usable.
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] isn’t bad. I think [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] would sound better, though. I don’t necessarily like [name_u]Everest[/name_u] as a name, especially since I see the [name_u]Everest[/name_u] College commercials so often. But it’s not going to traumatize your kid or anything.
I don’t like [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] [name_m]Wild[/name_m] at all. I don’t understand the appeal of [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] and [name_m]Wild[/name_m] as human names. [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] would be fine with a different combination (not ideal, since it’s so closely tied to the HP character, but with middle names like [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] and [name_m]Wild[/name_m] it just emphasizes the horrible character qualities in Rowling’s [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f]). Since you don’t intend to use “[name_f]Bella[/name_f]” as a nickname, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would be my preferred option. I don’t even know what to say about [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] and [name_m]Wild[/name_m]… it seems redundant to have both in one name.
I have no frame of reference for [name_u]Zaki[/name_u], so I’ll leave my opinions out on that one.
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] is all boy to me, probably because it’s so similar to [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. Something like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] would fit in better with [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. I totally agree with the quote above.
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] seems more male and too wordy for me but maybe still useable. Of the two combos I’d say [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f], although I would switch the two middles around to [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
For me the combo [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Rebel[/name_u] [name_m]Wild[/name_m] seems a bit too villain/ comic western. If [name_m]Wild[/name_m] was switched out with something else it could be useable.
Usually adopted kids have names. So you don’t really get to name them anyway. And of course you have the power to change it, but how would you like the child to say “Oh I don’t really like your name, let’s change it to [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]”?
