What about this?

Managed to have a good chat about girl names with my OH and he’s basically given me carte blanche to pick a first name I love if we use his aunt’s name, Antoniett@ as a middle. I actually really like the name so it’s not a problem for me!

One complication though is that our last name starts with a G so with an A middle initial lots of options are ruled out (SAG, FAG, BAG etc).

But we both really think we like [name_f]Ida[/name_f]. So what do people make of Id@ Antoniett@? The latter is a fairly rare Italian version of [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f].

I think the name is gorgeous. It flows very nicely, and I’ve always thought [name_f]Ida[/name_f] would be the cutest name for a little girl! I live in a very Italian community and have only met someone with her middle name once or so, so most people may not have heard of it before, if that influences your decision at all. Good luck finding a name

I love it! It’s sweet and the middle is fun and unexpected

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f]! [name_f]Ida[/name_f] is such a sweet name, and the flow with the mn is perfect

It’s adorable!

[name_m]Ah[/name_m] I’m glad people like it! It really feels like it could be the name - if we end up actually having a girl… if it’s a boy we’re in trouble!

The simplicity of [name_f]Ida[/name_f] pairs nicely with the fussiness of [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]. I like it.

It’s so stylish yet vintage, with real renaissance beauty. It’s so lovely. I think [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] is better than Antoinetta, but it’s still really nice either way.

I love [name_f]Ida[/name_f]! And this combo is gorgeous.

I like it!

I like it. Both names are unexpected and are appealing together. I also like the short and long name combination.

I like it too but agree with pp that without knowing the last name, [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] sounds better after [name_f]Ida[/name_f]. Good luck!

I like [name_f]Ida[/name_f] Antoinetta. I agree with the poster above me that [name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] flows better, but I understand wanting to keep the honor name in full.

I actually prefer the flow of [name_f]Ida[/name_f] Antoinetta to [name_f]Ida[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f].

I love a short sweet first name with a longer middle. Very feminine and pretty!
