*What age did you...*

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries.
When did your interest in names begin? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you remember your age or maybe an experience that triggered a name-hobby for lack of a better term?
I recall being as young as 5 and naming numerous imaginary friends, most of whom I did not interact with much at all. Now that I think of it, I think I enjoyed having them as just one more thing I could name.
Age 5: Named a bratty “imaginary friend”-a girl aged 7 called [i]Appelodia/i
A small white dog named [name_u]Shelly[/name_u]
When I was three or four, I had two dolls made for me, still have them. I’d named the boy [name_m]Bill[/name_m] and the girl [name_m]Tino[/name_m].(tee-no)
A few years later, a stuffed animal cat named [name_f]Chastity[/name_f].
The name interest became more prevalent when I was a tween. I wanted to be named a completely different name and would always be writing it differently, listing other acceptable variations.
I started imaging I could name myself whenever I wanted and it could change from day to day, mood to mood.

When I was 7, my sister had my first nephew. There’s quite an age gap between me and her. After she had him, she gave me her baby name book and I’ve been making name lists ever since and am completely obsessed with names.

Wow [name_u]Shilo[/name_u], I cannot even imagine how I would’ve been with a name book. I never knew such a thing existed until I was in my late teens.
