I love boys names for girls nn’s. For example [name]Jackie[/name] is such a cute nn for [name]Jacklyn[/name]. What are some names like this that you find adorable?
My favorite boys nn for a girl is [name]Dany[/name] or [name]Dannie[/name] but I don’t like [name]Danielle[/name] because it sounds and looks almost exactly the same as [name]Daniel[/name] to me. [name]Do[/name] you know of any [name]Dany[/name] type names that would be pretty on a girl even if it doesn’t get shortened?
What about [name]Danika[/name]/[name]Danica[/name]? I’ve also heard [name]Danette[/name]/Dannette, too.
I also like these:
[name]Charlotte[/name] “[name]Charlie[/name]”
[name]Alexine[/name]/[name]Alexandra[/name]/[name]Alexandria[/name]/[name]Alexa[/name]/[name]Alexia[/name] “[name]Alex[/name]/[name]Lex[/name]”
[name]Dominique[/name]/[name]Domenika[/name] “[name]Dom[/name]/[name]Nick[/name]”
[name]Nicolette[/name] “[name]Cole[/name]/[name]Nick[/name]”
[name]Eleni[/name]/[name]Helena[/name]/[name]Gwendolen[/name]/[name]Magdalen[/name]/etc. “[name]Leni[/name]/[name]Lenny[/name]” ([name]Leni[/name] is the ONE “unisex” nickname I [name]ADORE[/name] on a girl! I think it’s so cute!)
[name]Gabrielle[/name] “[name]Gabe[/name]”
[name]Bryony[/name] “Bry/[name]Bryan[/name]/[name]Ry[/name]”
[name]Evangeline[/name] “[name]Evan[/name]/Ev”
Sorry, I can’t really think of any! I’m not a huge fan of boyish nicknames in general… there’s nothing wrong with them–they’re just not my style.
