I love both names! [name]Noah[/name] is a little popular for me, though. However, I still like the name. [name]Alice[/name] I [name]LOVE[/name] and is one of my top choices for a future daughter as well:)
[name]Both[/name] of your choices made our short list, although I think once my husband saw how popular [name]Noah[/name] is he lost interest in it. But I think they are both lovely names.
[name]Both[/name] lovely! Although just to echo what someone else already said, I’m a bit worried about [name]Noah[/name]'s popularity. [name]Noah[/name] was on my short list, and I’m not really sure why it isn’t any more. [name]Alice[/name] is very pretty, and sounds soft and vintage-ish, but in [name]England[/name] it’s really gaining popularity. I know at least 5 little Alices born in the last few years.
For me as well the biblical association of [name]Noah[/name] is just too strong thanks to a [name]Sunday[/name] school upbringing - and the popularity factor would keep it off my own lists… I do like the sound of the word, but can see why some girls get this name as it can sound feminine.
I’ve always liked [name]Alice[/name], and have a good friend by this name in her early 30’s. She is petite with dark hair and it very much suits her. But … again the popularity thing. Good ol’ Twilight and the vintage re-discovery trend, making it soar. Still, too nice to discard.
All in all to me these are solid normal names - not a thing wrong with 'em.
