What are your favourite naming letters?

I thought it would be fun to see what everyone’s favourite naming letters for boys and girls.

For me;
Boys: J! ex, [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], [name_u]Jay[/name_u], [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]/[name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Johnny[/name_m], [name_m]Jase[/name_m].
Girls: E! ex, [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Erin[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f]

My favorite initial is A ([name_m]Archie[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Althea[/name_f]) but I also like a lot of H ([name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_m]Hector[/name_m], [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m]) and M ([name_m]Mungo[/name_m], [name_m]Monty[/name_m], [name_f]Magda[/name_f], [name_f]Monet[/name_f], [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]) names.

Across my whole list, guilty pleasures included, A for girls and boys. I have 32 A names on my list for girls, and 15 for boys.

But among names near the top of my list (top 10/20) I have quite a few P names. [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] (b), [name_m]Ptolemy[/name_m], and [name_m]Prosper[/name_m]. I have [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and [name_m]Ptolemy[/name_m] in my ideal sibset too.

I love a lot of A names: [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_m]Aries[/name_m], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Arrow[/name_m], [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_m]Axel[/name_m]

Pretty much all the vowels really: [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Emie[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_u]Echo[/name_u], [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f], [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u]

Next would be F and the ‘Ph’ sounds: [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Philo[/name_m], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_u]Fifer[/name_u], [name_u]Fable[/name_u] etc.

Lastly it would be the softer consonants like M, N, W, L, R, H, and S. Apart from a hard P which is a wild-card for me with names like [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_u]Poet[/name_u].

I’ve noticed a lot of my favorites start with F/Ph, Z, E, J, or T

E’s, J’s and A’s are my weakness, but overall I’m not bad, in my top names I only have 2 letter double ups.

E (girl): [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f], [name_f]Eliska[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], Elowyn, [name_u]Ember[/name_u], [name_f]Evelina[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Elara[/name_f], Elemmire.
J (boy): [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Jakob[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m], [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_m]Jackson[/name_m],
A (girl): [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], [name_f]Alessia[/name_f], [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], Annalies, [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f], Aniela, [name_f]Anaelle[/name_f], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], Alita.

Definitely A names, which seems to be a popular letter! I could name a lot of girls with just A names. S would maybe be my second most popular letter.

Regardless of gender, I have noticed I love “A”, “E”, “C”, and “L” names across the board, but also a few “I” and “O” ones, and “B” and “R” ones for boys. ([name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Arianne[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], [name_m]Amias[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]/[name_f]Liliana[/name_f]/[name_f]Lilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], etc. and then [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Benedikt[/name_m]/[name_m]Benedetto[/name_m], Borealis, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], etc. for boys!)

The initials I seem to favor for both sexes are A, C, E, M, and S. I also love V names for girls ([name_f]Veronica[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], Verdandi, [name_f]Violetta[/name_f]) and G names for boys ([name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Gregory[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_m]Geoffrey[/name_m], [name_m]Garrett[/name_m], [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m]).
