Octavia isn’t my personal favorite, but I can appreciate it for other people–that sort of weighty elegance that isn’t quite my style could 100% be what makes it appealing to someone else. I think [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] balances it beautifully, with light sounds and charming sweetness, and [name_u]Tavi[/name_u] is just wonderful!

I used to love [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] so much!! but now it’s slowly dropping off my list 
I loved this name because it always felt so powerful and pretty. I think the meanings fine and the angel number 8 means that abundance will soon come your way. The combo [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful! [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] balances out the almost heavy [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] quite well.

I really like [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is gorgeous. I don’t think the literal meaning of the name matters. How many boys named [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] are actually twins? How many girls named [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] were born on [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] day? For most people the meaning of their name is pretty irrelevant to their life.

I love [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]. I love [name_u]October[/name_u] too, and even think that works as a name, so the “Oct” part doesn’t bother me. To me, it bridges some of the water-sound names of recent years ([name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], etc) with the current and likely future popularity of “v” and those “harsh” sounds will likely make it sound LESS dated in the future. I love that it doesn’t PERFECTLY fit in right now, because that will make it harder to pin down to a decade. The nicknames are great, the middle names flows nicely. It’s great!

I think it’s a really cool name but I’d personally only use it if she was the eighth something. Maybe the eighth family member, grandkid, or was born on the 8th or in [name_u]August[/name_u], but I also think my thinking would probably be a bit ridiculous to most people. If you love the name and you think it fits your baby, use it.

I really like it! I have played music all my life, so I associate [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] with octave (in a good way–musical terms are beautiful). [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is a good middle name too, balancing out the strength of [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] with something sweet and gentle. For nicknames, I really only care for [name_u]Tavi[/name_u], but that’s a personal thing and I am indifferent to the others. I’m not too bothered about the meaning, [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] has a nice one (meaning “light”) and I prioritize sound/appearance of the name over meaning personally. [name_f]Awesome[/name_f] choice!
