What are your thoughts on my boys?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted with my lists. I’ll post the first names and then some possible combos that are inspired by honor initials. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to rank/rate or even better tell me your thoughts on them. Thanks so much.

[name_f]Shiloh[/name_f]

[name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m], [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] [name_m]Dylan[/name_m]

Second Tier Fellas:

[name_m]Asa[/name_m]

[name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m], [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Dylan[/name_m], [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m]

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] likely nn [name_m]Cal[/name_m]

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] [name_m]Adrian[/name_m]

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] likely nn [name_m]Dash[/name_m]

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m], [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m], [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m]

[name_m]Koa[/name_m]

[name_m]Koa[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Koa[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]Koa[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]

[name_m]Luca[/name_m]

[name_m]Luca[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]

[name_m]Luke[/name_m]

I seriously can’t think of a middle name using A, B, D or P that I like

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m]

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]

[name_m]Peter[/name_m]

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Asa[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]

And here are my thoughts on them all:

Asa-I love how it’s gentle and Hebrew (I’m Jewish). I don’t love how it looks a little bit like the word ‘As*’…

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] likely nn Cal-I’m mainly in this for [name_m]Cal[/name_m]. DH is [name_f]Irish[/name_f], so I like how it’s Gaelic, but not sure that I like saying [name_m]Calum[/name_m] that much. Oh, & I do really love the ‘dove’ meaning.

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] likely nn Dash-This would honor my dad [name_m]David[/name_m] as a FN, so I love the idea of using a ‘D’. [name_m]Dash[/name_m] is so fun…I think that [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] is kind of hard to say though.

Ewan-Love the vibe & the look. It’s a little weird said out loud, but still so handsome (and Gaelic & unique!)

Finn-Oh, it’s perfect. No complaints here. It’s been on my list since like 1999.

Julian-Same as above. Maybe I wish that it weren’t as popular.

Luca-So popular, but beautiful.

Luke-Really handsome, but I like [name_m]Luca[/name_m] better & can’t find a good MN.

Nolan-I really love it almost like [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] & [name_m]Finn[/name_m]. It’s Gaelic & gentle like them, but also kind of sporty. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a bit more common, so I don’t know.

Peter-I like how it’s classic & proper. Don’t love [name_m]Pete[/name_m] at all.

Shiloh-I hate how it’s more popular for girls. It’s so pretty for a boy!

Thanks again for humoring me.

[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] - Absolutely adore this one! It has a sound that’s simultaneously on-trend and unique, gentle and handsome. I like the [name_m]Euan[/name_m] spelling a bit more to avoid the “Ew” syllable but it’s really not a big deal either way. I honestly can’t pick a combo: [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is so storybook, but [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is so charmingly classic! I put my hand sup, I just can’t decide haha!

[name_m]Finn[/name_m] - Very popular, but I still adore it - it’s one of the friendliest, sunniest names out there! [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] feels very cool and modern

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] - I’ve just never liked how [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sounds, but it’s objectively a nice classic! [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Dov[/name_m] is my favourite combo, for something a little more unexpected and fun!

[name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] - Love!! I slightly prefer it on a girl, but it’s very cool on a boy as well (and I don’t think it feels too feminine). I love the softer sound and cool -oh ending too! [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m] would be my choice of combo, something about [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] [name_m]Dylan[/name_m] feels like it’s clashing stylistically to me? Although I couldn’t tell you why!

[name_m]Asa[/name_m] - A nice name, not for me (I know it’s not that trendy, but it always felt like it to me because of the [name_m]Ace[/name_m] sound?), but I do like the -a ending, very distinct! [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] makes [name_m]Asa[/name_m] feel a bit more sturdy and timeless which I like!

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] - I know a lot of guys with this name and all of them spell it [name_m]Callum[/name_m], so [name_m]Calum[/name_m] just looks misspelt to me  Spelling excluded, I like it !! The nickname [name_m]Cal[/name_m] is both cute & cool, and I think [name_m]Calum[/name_m] sounds very unique and handsome

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] - It’s a nice name, but I like the full name more than the nickname. I think it’s because I know quite a few Ashley’s nn [name_m]Ash[/name_m] or Ashton’s nn [name_m]Ash[/name_m], that [name_m]Dash[/name_m] feels a little unexciting to me? That said, [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] is a great combination! I don’t think [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] is hard to say, unless you’re talking about it getting mispronounced, which yes, I could see happening.

[name_m]Koa[/name_m] - Very cool, with its beachy surfer vibe! I’d personally feel a little weird using a Hawaiian name without having the matching ancestry, but [name_m]Koa[/name_m] is in the US top 300 so I definitely don’t think that’d be an issue for you. [name_m]Koa[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] is so lovely - I wasn’t sure if a classic name would work with [name_m]Koa[/name_m], but it absolutely does!

[name_m]Luca[/name_m] & [name_m]Luke[/name_m] - [name_m]Luke[/name_m] is okay, but I like [name_m]Luca[/name_m] much more! It feels more current, exciting, effortlessly cool and romantic. One of my favourites on this list! I don’t love the flow of [name_m]Luca[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], but it does work.

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] - A nice name! Feels very American & like you said, sporty, to me! I don’t quite get the Gaelic vibe from it as strongly as I do from [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] and [name_m]Finn[/name_m], like I said, it strikes me as quite American, just sound-wise and vibe-wise! [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] flows well, very modern-feeling

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] - I’ve praised a lot of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] combos, but I definitely prefer it as a middle - I like how it sounds in full, but I’ve never been very fond of the nicknames! [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Asa[/name_m] would be my combo choice!

[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] 10/10

[name_m]Finn[/name_m] 6/10

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] 7.5/10

[name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] 8/10

[name_m]Asa[/name_m] 7.5

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] 6/10

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] 4.5/10

[name_m]Koa[/name_m] 7/10

[name_m]Luca[/name_m] 7.5/10

[name_m]Luke[/name_m] 7/10

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] 5/10

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] 6.5/10

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites: [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] & [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f]
I love their gentle and charming vibe that they both have. They’re very sweet together as well

[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] - gorgeous - so handsome, rugged but gentle. [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is magical

[name_m]Finn[/name_m] - sparky, playful and sweet, but also sleek, cool and versatile. [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] doesn’t quite flow right to me. [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], [name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_m]Calum[/name_m] could work imo

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] - international, arty and versatile - a great option. I like both [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Dov[/name_m] (unexpected and charming) and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]

[name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] - bright, cool and warm with a lovely meaning. [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m] is charming

[name_m]Asa[/name_m] - short and gentle but with plenty of spirit. [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m] and [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Dylan[/name_m] are great

[name_m]Calum[/name_m] - gentle, cheerful and cool too! I like [name_m]Calum[/name_m] [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] too

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] - breezy and sporty but with preppy vibes too. I like the balance of [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m].

[name_m]Koa[/name_m] - playful and energetic, but meaningful. I admit it doesn’t quite ‘roll off the tongue’ in my accent though. [name_m]Koa[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] is lovely though

[name_m]Luca[/name_m] - I like the snappy, sparky feel. [name_m]Luca[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is nice - [name_m]Luca[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_m]Luca[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] would be nice too!

[name_m]Luke[/name_m] - grounded and solid, but I prefer [name_m]Luca[/name_m]. [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Brennan[/name_m] and [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Darragh[/name_m] came to mind

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] - warm and friendly, contemporary but well established. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is nice - I’d also like [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] (and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Bram[/name_m] too)

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] - a solid classic that you don’t hear too often. Not a personal favourite, admittedly, I find it a bit too oldish man but it’s not bad. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] has charm and style

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites from your list are [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], [name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_m]Asa[/name_m], [name_m]Koa[/name_m] and [name_m]Luca[/name_m].

I like the friendly sound of [name_m]Ewan[/name_m]. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] is fun and youthful. I like that [name_m]Asa[/name_m] is short, simple and a palindrome. [name_m]Koa[/name_m] just has a great sound in my opinion. [name_m]Luca[/name_m] is also a beautiful name; it’s modern but not too newfangled.

@tallemaja [name_m]Hi[/name_m] again! Thanks for your thoughts on the boys. I love that you can’t pick between my two [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] combos. I agree it’s hard! [name_m]Finn[/name_m] isn’t too popular in my area. It may be some day. I know that [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is more common; no idea why I’m so set on [name_m]Calum[/name_m]. I never thought about how it may be weird to use [name_m]Koa[/name_m] with the ancestry. I always just thought it was a cool tree name.

@rhodes2nowhere Thanks for your thoughts on the boys, too! I love gentle charming names; [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] & [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] are so sweet together, aren’t they? I’m so surprised about all of the love for [name_m]Ewan[/name_m].

@Greyblue Thank you for your comments on the gentlemen! So glad you you like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Dov[/name_m] & [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Dylan[/name_m]. [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] does sound pretty good, doesn’t it?

@Johannaa Thank you for your thoughts! So glad that you like so many of them.
