I recently came across the name [name_f]Lotus[/name_f] and fell in love with it. What are your thoughts on the name? Is it too out there? I probably wont be brave enough to use it for any future girls we would have but I do love it. 
Not my style, I’d put it firmly in the hippy camp with [name_f]Sunshine[/name_f] and [name_f]Rainbow[/name_f] which is fine if your child grows up to live in a commune but potentially a drag if they don’t. It also reminds me of Locust. I love your children’s’ names irl though.
I know a [name_f]Lotus[/name_f]. She likes her name (and her parents aren’t hippies). She sometimes goes by [name_f]Lolo[/name_f].
I don’t mind it, but i would never use it because it reminds me of the prostitute in The Good [name_f]Earth[/name_f]. Not a good association.
It has a hippy vibe. But if people name their children [name_f]Rainbow[/name_f], why not [name_f]Lotus[/name_f]? Its not my style and I would be confused if I met one, but it isn’t too far out there. I wouldn’t use it, but if it is a name you really love, then go for it.
It doesn’t particularly sound like a name to me but I’ve definitely heard worse and I would be shocked to meet a person named [name_f]Lotus[/name_f] but I wouldn’t think it was too crazy
I don’t like it at all, sorry. I agree with the poster who said it reminded them of locusts.
The name is a no go for me. It also reminds me of locust.
