The bundle is to join sisters [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] [name_f]Patricia[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] Canam & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] Canam.
Thank you all, [name_f]Felicia[/name_f] and [name_u]Brett[/name_u]!
It has a pleasant sound and I link people will react well enough to it in the world. On NB it might be more muted or mixed in reaction since [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] is often viewed as “past its prime”. Here are a few questions for you to consider.
Is there a family significance to the spelling of [name_u]Kelley[/name_u]? If so, that will no doubt win it opinion points on here, and it makes the fact that it may often be misspelled more worth it. If not, I strongly suggest [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], just to avoid the frequent spelling corrections that will result from the extra E.
I can’t help noticing that the three girls; names sound a lot a like. They all end in EE, and all have an L in the middle, and [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] and [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] both have the [name_f]EL[/name_f] sequence in the middle. None of that is the end of the world, but would you consider something like maybe [name_f]Callie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kylie[/name_f]? I would suggest [name_f]Calla[/name_f] but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Calla[/name_f] together are a bit much. [name_f]Callie[/name_f] and [name_f]Kylie[/name_f] are both a little more “current”, and also just add a little more variety.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] have family meaning? [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is super cute, and [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] is fine, but they are both short and choppy together. If they’re meaningful it’s worth it, if not, you might reconsider. [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Linea[/name_f] or [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] catch some of the sound. I really think [name_f]Mae[/name_f] would be nice as a FN by the way if you’d consider it, [name_u]Shelby[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a nice set.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] checking that you’re OK with the repeated initial sounds / alliteration of [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] and your last name. I think it’s alliteration that works, but some people prefer to avoid alliteration.
I think it’s a beautiful name! I love [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - I would probably go for this spelling too.
Another option is [name_u]Keely[/name_u]. Another name you may like is [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] (not [name_f]Kristy[/name_f]).
I actually like [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] together & think they flow really well - Maylin is actually a name in its own right.

Ps sorry Felicia, I hope I haven’t given you the wrong impression. I really do love the name! Just giving a few other options in case you’re still looking
I think it’s lovely actually - I’ve always had a soft spot for the name [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]/[name_f]Kellie[/name_f]. [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] seems slightly more unisex to me, because the one male with the name I do know, is [name_u]Kelley[/name_u]. I think it works nicely with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] if I’m honest, and don’t let others deter you from [name_u]Kelley[/name_u]/[name_u]Kelly[/name_u]/[name_f]Kellie[/name_f] - it’s a lovely name, and it’s established, well known, and very easy to pronounce and read. I think it’s perfect for your family, although I do agree with @lee1981 - [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] (and [name_u]Keeley[/name_u]) would be lovely as well.
It’s not a bad name, but it’s definitely not my style. [name_u]Kelley[/name_u] is considered dated around here, and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] are filler middle names to me. That’s just my opinion though - only matters if you like the name. If I were to makeover the name in my style, it would be [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - some more unusual replacements. Best of luck!
