Hot Takes?

Perhaps more of something I’ve been thinking about than a definitive take, but using a name with strong cultural or religious ties to which you do not have a connection does not sit right with me. I do think it’s important to distinguish this with names whose roots come from a particular culture or religion, but are no longer identified with one particular (closed) group. Perhaps an exception would be when naming after a friend/relative… I’m not sure. I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts. A li…
