Culkin.

I think [name]Kieran[/name] is a softer name and I like it a lot. I tend to like softer boys names. My son’s name is [name]Cuyler[/name] and this one if it’s a boy will be [name]Avery[/name]. I also love [name]Morgan[/name] for a boy which seems softer to me too. I also like [name]Conner[/name] but as with [name]Kieran[/name] I’m not sure if it’s too matchy with my son’s name [name]Cuyler[/name].

I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Kieran[/name]! It was in my top 5 for a long time until I heard multiple people say the name and it came out sounding like [name]Karen[/name]. :frowning: it kind of ruined it for me.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Kieran[/name]! As with others, the hard ‘k’ at the beginning doesn’t make it sound soft at all to me. I know a little 3 year old with this name and he’s quite spunky and outgoing. Shy initially, but once he knows you better very animated.

My cousin [name]Kieran[/name] has never had any problems with spelling or pronunciation - rare in an Irish boy’s name. I love the fact it is a classic Irish name but without the spelling problems of [name]Sean[/name], [name]Seamus[/name] etc and much less common than other easy to spell Irish names like [name]Liam[/name], [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Aiden[/name].
