I like them all but I vote [name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name]. [name]Simone[/name] would have been my second choice.

I like [name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] together best.

[name]Jesse[/name] seems like a down to earth nice-guy name. I would almost picture a girl next door type to be the sibling. I would actually pair [name]Jesse[/name] up with something like:

[name]Sarah[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Emily[/name]
[name]Emma[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name]
[name]Molly[/name]
[name]Maisie[/name]

[name]Jesse[/name], as a name, is a nice mix of biblical classic and [name]Wild[/name] [name]West[/name] bad boy.

  • [name]Delilah[/name] is too sultry, sexy and naughty to pair with [name]Jesse[/name]. It emphasizes the bad side minus the glamor
  • [name]Simone[/name] is a refreshing choice: biblical, a little bit slinky, but still buttoned-up enough to be serious, respectable and intriguing
  • [name]Ruby[/name] is a chorus girl in the [name]Wild[/name] [name]West[/name] saloon. She and [name]Jesse[/name] are the best of pals. It’s a perfect stylistic mach-- but [name]Ruby[/name] is very popular now, much more so than [name]Jesse[/name]
  • [name]Fiona[/name] is too crisp, Celtic and British to match well with [name]Jesse[/name]
  • [name]Hope[/name] is too good-girl
  • [name]Veronica[/name] is too elegant and ornate with homespun [name]Jesse[/name]

I think [name]Ruby[/name] matches best, but I would actually select [name]Simone[/name] due to its freshness.

[name]Blade[/name],
I love [name]Simone[/name] too, but I’m afraid it’s so French, and [name]Jesse[/name] is so not. That’s my main concern with it; do you agree?
Thank you so much for breaking down the names the way you did! You made it so clear!
Is there any name out there that you feel I should add to my list? Because it looks as though my list is slimmed down to only [name]Simone[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. [name]Millie[/name] maybe?

[name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] is a fantastic pairing!

[name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] feels really safe and expected to me. Not sure where you are but here in Australia, [name]Ruby[/name] is so popular it’s just boring now.

[name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] is also a great pairing!

Where I live [name]Ruby[/name] isn’t popular at all! Thank you all so much for all of your comments.

and [name]Rachel[/name] :)… My bro’s name is [name]Jesse[/name]! hehe

I think the French origin of [name]Simone[/name] is perfectly fine. It’s not something uber-French, like Francoise or Ghyslaine.

[name]How[/name] about something that can slim down to a good nickname, but is still meaty? Maybe with some Italian roots?

[name]Adele[/name] nn [name]Addie[/name] (sounds great with your last name)
[name]Roxanne[/name] / [name]Roxanna[/name] (love, love, love [name]Roxie[/name] & [name]Jesse[/name])
[name]Amelia[/name] nn [name]Millie[/name]
[name]Carmen[/name]
[name]Cosima[/name] nn Cozy
[name]Perla[/name] nn [name]Pearlie[/name]
[name]Rosina[/name] nn [name]Rosie[/name]
[name]Viola[/name] nn [name]Vivi[/name]
[name]Lana[/name]
[name]Marcela[/name] nn [name]Marcie[/name]

Ps. Not [name]Delilah[/name]!.. Though it sounds pretty; she is a whore in the Bible (if that bothers you) fyi

[name]Love[/name] your suggestions [name]Blade[/name]! It’s funny because [name]Roxanne[/name] and [name]Pearl[/name] have been floating around in my head lately. I like [name]Perla[/name] much better than [name]Pearl[/name] though! You’re right, [name]Adele[/name] does sound great with my last name! [name]Love[/name] the whole list! I can’t wait to discuss all the names with my husband!

great, let us know as the list evolves

[name]Perla[/name] is really darling, and ‘[name]Adele[/name] Altomari’ sounds made for a movie marquee.

[name]One[/name] last question: What do you think of [name]Lola[/name]? I thought [name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Lola[/name] sounded great together.

I think they sound alright together but I hate the name [name]Lola[/name] with a passion. It’s both overly cutesy and sexual.

[name]Lola[/name] and [name]Jesse[/name] are cute!

[name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Roxanne[/name] or [name]Pearl[/name] would be so cute, but I voted for [name]Veronica[/name]. They seem to match up in a lot of categories.
