What comes to mind?

On the girls forum, I mentioned that we had our boy names figured out. Then I came across [name_m]Caradoc[/name_m], Penrose and [name_m]Bertram[/name_m], which ended up on our list. I found out that [name_m]Bertram[/name_m] is a family name as is [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]. Two middle names, is as well our family tradition, so it stays.
My main concern is the feel you get with our name combos. What comes to mind when you say the name out loud (lavish, boring, ugly ect) or what is the general feel you get (nerdy, boyish, unisex) and why? This may help reduce them. Thanks for your help! Sn. Cash

Hatham Theodore Winthrop … Nn. Hath --Any Better?

Beacon Leopold Brynmor… Nn.Beau … Leopold family name

Caradoc Eamon Belvedere …

Bertram Peregrine Knightly – Nn. Birdie, Bertie, Regrine, Reggie, and Knightly

Penrose Fitzwilliam Archibald … Nn. Penn, Fitz

Haytham [name_m]Haskel[/name_m] [name_m]Thorbert[/name_m] [name_m]Winthrop[/name_m] … Although Haytham is a legitimate Arabic name, it may look a bit “made up” or “kre8tif” to a large majority who wouldn’t know that fact. This combo just sounds like you threw four names in the air and let them land wherever. Four two-syllable names in a combo isn’t ideal for flow.

[name_m]Beacon[/name_m] [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Brynmor[/name_m] … [name_m]Beacon[/name_m] is a unusual word name which reminds me of [name_m]Deacon[/name_m]. The middles [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Brynmor[/name_m] is pretty awesome! Probably the second best on your list.

[name_m]Caradoc[/name_m] [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_m]Belvedere[/name_m] - a name that any writer or reader would love! This sounds like a medieval knight! My fave of the choices.

[name_m]Bertram[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] Knightly - I love [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] but [name_m]Bertram[/name_m] is geeky and Knightly is too [name_f]Keira[/name_f]-like.

[name_u]Penrose[/name_u] [name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m] Archiebald - a name for a posh aristocrat or someone who wants to be one. FYI - [name_m]Archibald[/name_m] is usually spelled with no “e”.

Haytham [name_m]Haskel[/name_m] [name_m]Thorbert[/name_m] [name_m]Winthrop[/name_m]- It’s a lot of name, which makes it sound kind of pretentious. I would stick with just two middles. Hath is cute.

[name_m]Beacon[/name_m] [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Brynmor[/name_m]- I like this a lot. It sounds like a scientist’s name. [name_m]Beau[/name_m] makes it friendly.

[name_m]Caradoc[/name_m] [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_m]Belvedere[/name_m]- I imagine a knight in shining armor, LOL.

[name_m]Bertram[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] Knightly- I like this as well. Very [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] and Knightly are my favorite nicknames.

[name_u]Penrose[/name_u] [name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m] Archiebald- [name_u]Penrose[/name_u] sounds a little girly. I love [name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m] and [name_m]Archibald[/name_m], though!

Hatham [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Winthrop[/name_m], does that sound better? Sn. [name_m]Cash[/name_m], so it does get broken up.

Thank You: I can shorten Hatham to Hatham [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Winthrop[/name_m]…does that help it or just scrape it all together?

[name_m]Caradoc[/name_m] [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_m]Belvedere[/name_m] - swoon Sounds like a medieval knight’s name!
