I love it! It’s on my list, I think it’s a beautiful name and very underrated! I hope it stays that way as it does feel as if that’s my hidden gem :joy: I would adore it for any little girl however

I think it is beautiful. I would use it but my family thinks it’s too connected to [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], Oregon. I think that’s cool though because that’s where they filmed the Goonies.

The Goonies connection was the first thing that came to my mind, I love that movie.

Astoria is a neighborhood in NYC where I live, so I just can’t see it as a name. However, for people who don’t have that association, I guess it’s fine!

I think it’s beautiful I know several people have suggested [name_u]Story[/name_u] as a nickname but I’m partial to [name_u]Tora[/name_u] it’s a bit more of a stretch but I think it’s kind of cool and can see a kid wanting to go by that as they get older

I used to super love [name_f]Astoria[/name_f]! The nn [name_u]Story[/name_u] is so sweet and [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] is a bit frilly and unexpected. It’s super nice.

I went away from it because of the Waldorf [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], but just seeing [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] has me crushing on [name_u]Story[/name_u] again…

I live in the NYC area, so my first association is also the neighborhood in Queens, though it’s not a negative association, per say. Sound-wise, I think it’s nice.

I also think of the neighbourhood, not that I’m from NYC (or the States for that matter). But in saying that it does have an interesting sound and I do love the nickname [name_u]Story[/name_u].
