[name_m]Just[/name_m] came across the Armenian variation of [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]: [name_f]Zabelle[/name_f].
This name is brand new to me, I’m sure DH won’t like it, but I can’t decide if it’s beautiful enough to outweigh that it sounds a little incomplete without the initial I syllable.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious of your thoughts.
It sort of sounds like stable. [name_f]Sable[/name_f] or [name_f]Sabina[/name_f]?
I should clarify, I’m imagining [name_f]Zabelle[/name_f] is pronounced za-belle.
It sounds the ‘the bell’ with a [name_m]German[/name_m] accent? ” I’m with you on can’t decide whether it’s pretty enough. Personally, I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Zabel[/name_f], but I think it’s rather funky. I don’t know how well it’d work outside of Armenia though, I assume people would just think it was [name_f]Isabel[/name_f].
