I was watching a documentary and there was a woman in it by the name of Layli-- and I don’t know how I think about it, as I do not like [name_f]Layla[/name_f] at all, but I think Layli is really sweet. What do you all think? Any similar sort of names you can think of?
Layli sounds really foreign and exotic, and reminds me of [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f], both very pretty names [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. But it also sounds kind of flimsy, might work best as a middle name.
I like the sound actually, mostly because it reminds me a lot of [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee) which I adore.
It also makes me think of the [name_m]French[/name_m] [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] for some reason.
I like it! It sounds like a more proper name then [name_f]Kayli[/name_f], [name_f]Hayli[/name_f], Rayli, etc…
