As my own name I dont like the common nickname [name_u]Gabby[/name_u] (Im Gabs. Looking back I wouldve pushed for [name_f]Elle[/name_f] but it never came up)
It was too lengthy with my three syllable maiden name ( I fixed that problem)
I do think it hits the sweet spot of known but not common
I love it! It’s an all rounder name imo. Sweet nickname choices, sounds lovely said outloud, looks lovely written down and very familiar yet not popular.
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] is very elegant, well polished name that feels romantic and graceful. I like the nickname [name_u]Gaby[/name_u] for a more tomboy edge along with [name_f]Elle[/name_f] to suit a girl girl. She’s lovely.
