Thoughts on Juno?
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] is effortlessly cool to me
It’s a cool name with a great sound but the goddess association is so strong that I wouldn’t name a child [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Juno[/name_f]! Warm and strong!!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
I like [name_f]Juno[/name_f] in theory, love the goddess connection but not keen on the movie connection. So wouldn’t use it personally but think it’s definitely usable.
I love [name_f]Juno[/name_f] she’s such a cool girl name with lots of energy behind her. [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is vibrant and fun she also has a lovely meaning queen of the heavens.
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] is a fabulous name, in my totally biased opinion! I love the clear, bouncy sound and the fun O ending. It’s cute and quirky but also feisty and headstrong.
When we chose it for our first daughter I particularly loved that [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is the goddess of marriage, women and childbirth. As a young first time mother it just felt meant to be!
I just adore [name_f]Juno[/name_f]! If my partner hadn’t vetoed it my daughter very possibly would’ve been named [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. Like @katinka I love its bouncy sound and I’m always partial to an -o ending, and the fact that [name_f]Juno[/name_f] was the goddess of marriage, women and childbirth also appealed to me as a first time mum. I still get sad I’ll never be able to use it!
This is exactly how I feel about it, and it’s a personal dealbreaker for me (even though I like the movie). That said, I think it’s far from unusable and outside of associations, a great name.
It’s one of my very favorite names! I think it’s spunky and strong while still being cute. The movie association doesn’t bother me anymore, but it did when I first started to like it.
