I like [name_f]Willa[/name_f]! My dad’s name is [name_m]Wilson[/name_m], so my husband and I were trying to think of names to honor him. I suggested [name_f]Willa[/name_f], but hubby said no. I also like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] if you want something similar but are concerned about [name_f]Willa[/name_f]!

The first time I heard of this it was when the singer [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] had a song on the radio. I thought it was such a strange name. But it has grown on me. I think it’s cute.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] is on my shortlist to honor my grandfather [name_m]Wilmer[/name_m]. Obviously i am in love with it!

I prefer [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is just not my style. However [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a lovely honour name.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a sweet old-fashioned name…at least that’s my impression of it. It also has the great novelist [name_f]Willa[/name_f] Cather to give it oomph. My preference is [name_f]Willow[/name_f], but that’s because I’ve always loved willow trees. FWIW, [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] Streep has a daughter named [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Willa[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Mamie[/name_f].
