I was just laying in bed next to my DH and was thinking of names … what do you think of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rayne[/name]
Sounds a little like violent rain to me.
It’s very pretty, but also a little too much of a word name combo. [name]Rayna[/name] [name]Violet[/name] might work!
It sounds a little bit too much like your saying the rain is purple, violet rain… I’m not a fan of names with two nouns.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Raina[/name] [name]Violet[/name], like sunshine.10 suggested? I agree, the adjective/noun combo doesn’t really work.
It has a pretty sound … but it makes me think of the [name]Prince[/name] song, “Purple [name]Rain[/name].”
[name]Violet[/name] is lovely, but I think that [name]Rayne[/name] has a very trashy-80s vibe and I don’t like how phrase-like “[name]Violet[/name] [name]Rayne[/name]” is together.
I agree with everyone else—[name]Violet[/name] [name]Rayne[/name] calls to mind violet rain…Maybe [name]Violet[/name] [name]Reyna[/name] instead??
I agree with this post. What about [name]Violet[/name] [name]Reina[/name]? I think the “y” in general makes it look trashy, to be honest.
I think of ‘violent rain’ but also of the [name]Prince[/name]'s “Purple [name]Rain[/name]”.
I really dislike it.
Eh, I can’t help but hear it as “Violent rain”, so I’m thinking of a torrential downpour.
I agree with some of the others, maybe switch the names around?
I’m not keen on the combination.
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Ray[/name] would be nice though.
Ooh, I like maggiemary’s idea of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Ray[/name]! I think it would also be cute spelled [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rae[/name] to make it a little less of a word combo.
I think [name]Violet[/name] [name]Rayne[/name] is so pretty!
Makes me think of purple rain, which makes me think of the song from the 80’s by [name]Prince[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] is pretty but not with [name]Rayne[/name].
I think [name]Raina[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is pretty too.
