Boys-
Here are the ones that I really like. I think they are all usable. I can see these names on a young baby all the way to a matured man.
[name]Theo[/name]- So adorable! Classic, yet not overused.
[name]Arlo[/name]- Very unique but not too out there.
[name]Jude[/name]- Another one that is classic.
[name]Thaddeus[/name]- I am not 100% sure if I love this but I am loving the nick name [name]Thad[/name].
[name]Benjamin[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name], classic and strong. It is common, but I think that is one of those names where that really doesn’t matter.
Now here are some that I am iffy about.
[name]Lachlan[/name]- This is not my style, but there is something about it that I am liking. I think it is very usable.
[name]Fredrick[/name]- I think this name is very European. I can see this name on an older man, but not a young boy. Maybe if you used the nick name [name]Freddie[/name] while he was younger, it would would.
[name]Cassian[/name]- This is also not my style. I think it is another name that would not really work on a young boy, but if you used a nickname when he was younger, I think he would grow into it.
Now here are the names I do not think are usable. [name]Just[/name] my personal opinion.
[name]Grover[/name]- This name seems very childish to me. It also reminds me of a dog’s name.
[name]Cross[/name]- I do not know if you are religious, but I think this name will be seen as being extremely so. Maybe Crosser would be a better option. Also cross can be used as an adjective that has a negative association.
[name]Lemmy[/name]- This also seems very childish to me. It is extremely too nick namey. It reminds me of [name]Lemon[/name].
Girls-
Here are the ones that I find very usable, and extremely adorable.
[name]Nina[/name]- This has a level of cuteness but can also be seen as a strong professional name. So this will definitely grow with your child.
[name]Elodie[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name]. This is on my list. So unique yet it blends in with all the other popular [name]Elle[/name] names.
[name]Effie[/name]- This is very European and cute. One concern is that it may be too nick namey.
[name]Sadie[/name]- This is another name that is unique but fits right in with those popular names.
[name]Rose[/name]- Who doesn’t like [name]Rose[/name]? Simple, classic, beautiful. You can’t go wrong with this name.
[name]Lilia[/name]- Such a gerat twist on the extremly popular [name]Lily[/name].
[name]Margo[/name]- Another one that will grow with your child.
Now here are some that I am iffy on.
[name]Clementine[/name]- Something about this name is very lovely, but at the same time i just am not sure if it’s usable. If you are feeling brave, I say go for it. But I think it may be too long, so I would try to find a nick name you like, because I feel people are going to shorten it either way.
[name]Lyra[/name]- [name]Unique[/name], and pretty. But I’m not sure if it flows very well.
[name]Helena[/name]- Beautiful. But out dated? I’m not sure.
[name]Mary[/name]- Classic, but maybe a little boring. I think you have better choices on your list. This would be a cute middle name.
Lalli- This would fit in with the [name]Lily[/name]'s, but I can’t stop thinking of Lollipops.
Here are the ones I am not liking.
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Elenor[/name]
[name]Polly[/name]- Want a cracker?
[name]Miriam[/name]
Cossetti
This are all a little too out dated to me.
WOW! Sorry this post is so long!
I think you have many great choices!!
Good luck!
