What do you think Lux Josephine?

Due in two weeks and having the hardest time settling on a name. What do you think of the name [name]Lux[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]. We have another daughter named [name]Domino[/name] as well.

I actually love it! Not totally sold on the first and last together without the middle to add the flow. But overall, I say go for it.

[name]Lux[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Earle[/name] is beautiful.

[name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name] as a name is a little off to me but it’s not awful, I’ve seen worse. [name]Domino[/name] and [name]Lux[/name] make a cute sibset, too

[name]Lux[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]…
[name]Lux[/name] is a cool, spunky name that projects a spirited attitude. I also think [name]Lux[/name], works with [name]Domino[/name] as well. [name]Lux[/name] and [name]Domino[/name] have a similar edge, they both look edgy and intriguing along with sounding daring. [name]Domino[/name] is a very unusual, daring choice that has bags of attitude. You need a name as equally as funky as [name]Domino[/name] which [name]Lux[/name] is. [name]Lux[/name] is has similar qualities to [name]Domino[/name] and they look very electric together. I also love [name]Lux[/name] with [name]Josephine[/name] which is a gorgeously vintage choice. I love the name [name]Josephine[/name]. [name]Lux[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] sounds lush.

I think [name]Lux[/name] is a cool name, she definitely will not have to go by her last initial. And classy [name]Josephine[/name] is awesome. I think they go pretty well together. And [name]Lux[/name] & [name]Domino[/name], sounds like a funky little sibset. I think the names go well together because they are different and edgy. Good choice!

I really like it! The flow is good, [name]Lux[/name] is offset nicely by retro [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Lux[/name] & [name]Domino[/name] are great together, so it ticks all the boxes for me.

I love it! Two of my favorite names, and [name]Domino[/name] and [name]Lux[/name] sound really good together.

I prefer [name]Josephine[/name] to [name]Lux[/name]. I’m afraid [name]Lux[/name] is the brand of soap my parents always bought and I still use [name]Lux[/name] shower gel…

I prefer [name]Josephine[/name]. I think [name]Lux[/name] makes a great mn but I wouldn’t use it for a first name. I have the soap brand in my head as well. But more importantly, the flow of [name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name] isn’t appealing (luxearle).

Cool idea… I think I’m with [name]Mischa[/name] on the flow of [name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name]. If that’s your last name, I’d rethink the one-syllable first.

Thank you all for your feedback. I agree [name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name] isn’t the absolute best flow, but I’ve said it over and over a million times and to me it’s not bad.

I’ve also poured over hundreds of names and have not come across anything I like as much as [name]Lux[/name], or at least that my husband and I can agree on. I am still very open to suggestions now that you all know my other daughter’s name and our last name. I’m also pretty firm on [name]Josephine[/name] as a middle name because it’s after my father and grandfather. In general I’m looking for something that is strong and holds up with [name]Domino[/name].

Thanks again.

[name]Love[/name] it, so cute!

I like it. As most of the people said on the forum, it’s spunky and fresh. It’s great with [name]Domino[/name], and both are very fresh and enticing.
Good luck

I love [name]Lux[/name] and I feel like [name]Josephine[/name] balances it out nicely… but I wouldn’t pair it with your last name.

I really the combo, plus I love the sound of just the first and last names together. [name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name] is such a cool sounding name! Kudos!

Hate to be a downer, but I don’t care for [name]Lux[/name]. [name]Josephine[/name] is beautiful.

Go for it! [name]Lux[/name] is unusual, and not the name I’d pick for my own kiddo, but it’s the name you love, and it pairs well with [name]Domino[/name]. [name]Lux[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is lovely together. And I don’t think it matters so much how it fits with your last name.

[name]Love[/name] it! For me the flow of [name]Lux[/name] [name]Earle[/name]'s not the best but not the deal breaker. Go for it.

Thank you again everyone for your feedback. I’ve been reading them to my husband as well to help us finalize our decision

I’m in the naysayers camp with this one.
[name]Lux[/name] in this combination makes me think “luxury,” especially with [name]Earl[/name]. [name]Lux[/name] [name]Lord[/name]… [name]Lux[/name] [name]Prince[/name]… etc.
[name]Josephine[/name] is wonderful, but with [name]Lux[/name] and [name]Earl[/name], I think of the [name]Empress[/name] [name]Josephine[/name].
The name’s just too… expensive for me. Sorry.

[name]Domino[/name] is cool. [name]How[/name] about [name]Dorothea[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]? “[name]Dot[/name]” and [name]Domino[/name]. Cute!
