I have two questions that I need help with please but first off some background information. My birth name is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and it’s my legal first name. I have no middle name/names. My surname is [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. While I love the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], it has always bothered me on how short the name is. I am considering changing my name legally to a longer form of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I am British and live in [name_f]England[/name_f].
I have recently fallen in love with [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]. I am considering changing my name to [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] and going by [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] on a daily basis but sometimes be called [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]. My concern about [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] though is it easily pronounceable for English speakers? Another option is [name_f]Luciana[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]! It’s classy, sweet and even elegant. I can only think of one way to pronounce it, unlike [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] which has at least two. I also love [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f].
Personally, I’d change my first name instead of just adding a middle name. Out of the ones you mentioned [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is my favorite.
I don’t think that [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] is hard to pronounce. I also like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Liana[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucienne[/name_f] & [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] are both very pretty & easy to pronounce!
I don’t think that just adding a middle name will do much since most people rarely use them outside of official documents. I personally would just change my first name. You could still give yourself a middle name if you wanted one.
I really love [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] (I say loo-see-ah-nah)! It’s probably my favorite long form of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]’s really pretty too! I don’t think that you’d have any pronunciation problems.
