I recently heard it in the Time [name]Traveller[/name]'s wife and am beginning to really love it!
What do you think of these?
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Olive[/name]
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Sybil[/name] (Thoughts on [name]Sybil[/name]?)
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Margot[/name] (Or [name]Margo[/name]?)
I like it when pronounced with a Spanish pronunciation. It sounds soft and sophisticated in Spanish to me. In English is sounds kind of awkward to me (but maybe in that good, clunky way that is popular now). I like [name]Alba[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] or [name]Alba[/name] [name]Margot[/name] the best from your list.
I don’t like it… when I see it I immediately think of [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name] which makes it sound kind of trendy [name]IMO[/name], even if it’s a legitimate first name. Out of your combos, I like [name]Alba[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] the best.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Sybil[/name], but not with [name]Alba[/name].
I like it a lot. It has a lot of old-fashioned charm like [name]Ada[/name] and [name]Alberta[/name] and it has the A which is very popular too, yet it still sounds fresh and unique.
I used to really like it, but then I was talking to someone and mentioned the name and they for some reason thought I said ‘[name]Albus[/name]’ and therefore all I can picture is [name]Albus[/name] Dumbledore from [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name], lol!
I know that’s just a problem I have, but it is a pretty name. [name]Alba[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is beautiful.
I’m sorry but I like some of the middle names you’ve chosen better. I immediately think of [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name] and I would worry that others would too. For the rest of her life people would say “oh, like [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name], right?!” I’m afraid she’d grow old with it. I don’t mean to be harsh, just my honest opinion. Best of luck.
I don’t like it, sorry.
[name]Love[/name] it! I think people will naturally say it Ahl-ba (not Ail-ba). [name]Unique[/name], sophisticated, feminine–go for it.
[name]Alba[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] is very classy, go for it.
Meh. Too trendy for my tastes. Like [name]Monroe[/name] and [name]Marley[/name], people will think you named her after [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name].
I prefer [name]Alma[/name]… but i dont hate [name]Alba[/name]!
[name]Alba[/name] is a SUPER old lady name for Spanish speakers. I know old lady names are coming back, but I can’t get behind it for [name]Alba[/name].
I love [name]Alba[/name]! My absolute favourite from your list is [name]Alba[/name] [name]Margot[/name]! It is beautiful and you have the option of little-girl nicknames with [name]Ally[/name], [name]Ali[/name], [name]Albie[/name], or even stretch it to B/[name]Bee[/name]/[name]Bea[/name]/Be-be. I think the Jessia [name]Alba[/name] connection is pretty minimal, to me at least. And the [name]Albus[/name] (Dumbledore) connection is entirely positive, even though it’s a tiny connection.
After I saw the Time [name]Traveler[/name]'s Wife, I feel in love with the name [name]Alba[/name] too! It’s one of my favorites! I personally prefer [name]Alba[/name] [name]Olive[/name].
