What do you think of this name? Tell me thoughts, conserns or other name suggestions. Thanks
I’m going to be honest: my first thought is “anally.” Spelling it [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u] might be a better idea?
I think going with [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] would be better. And then [name_f]Annalee[/name_f] could be the nickname.
Honestly, I don’t care for it. As previous poster said: anally. Sorry.
The spelling looks a little harsh and trying too hard.
And anally.
I’d vote for [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] instead.
Or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Yeah, I also just saw Anal/ Anally…
I highly recommend using a spelling with a double n.
My suggestions are [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u] or [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f].
[name_m]Just[/name_m] adding an extra N makes it more wearable: [name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f] at least doesn’t actually have the word ‘anal’ in it. But I can’t help but hear ‘anally’… I don’t think it’s totally unusable, I suspect there are plenty of Analeighs out there, but personally I would use Annaleise.
It feels like a made up name to me
I much prefer
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Annalise[/name_f]
Or what about [name_f]Anna[/name_f] with middle name [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]
[name_f]Analeigh[/name_f] was the girl on the bachelor that had all the go-kart trauma and such yeah? Otherwise I like the name. I didn’t see “anally” at all. Makes me think a little of Avonlea from [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables.
Yeah, I wouldn’t use anything where the first four letters spell “anal.” I agree with PP that a second N ([name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f]) or a hyphen/space ([name_f]Ana[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]) solves the problem.
I think its cute, but totally agree with the others who mentioned [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]!
[name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f] looks cleaner and more complete to me. There was an actress named [name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f] Ashford in the Legally Blonde musical so that spelling looks more familiar to me.
There was an Americas Next Top Model contestant named [name_f]Analeigh[/name_f], so that’s who I think of.
I agree that for many reasons, [name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f] is probably the better spelling. It’s a pretty name, though!
Sounds terribly like anally…oh my. And, I’m not a fan of made-up names.
See, I like it a lot, and I don’t think the “anally,” thing is a super obvious issue because I’ve known people with this name and that’s like, never happened. However, once it’s in your head, it’s hard to get out, so I’d like to also pitch in some support for [name_f]Annelise[/name_f]. You can spell it tons of different ways and there are a lot of cute nicknames available. It’s one of my personal favorites, and I love the nickname “[name_f]Annie[/name_f].”
I pronounce [name_f]Analeigh[/name_f] in my head like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], like “[name_m]Ah[/name_m]-nuh-lee”, which I think is kind of pretty. [name_f]Analeigh[/name_f] like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] feels kind of off and made up.
[name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] is beautiful but I must say I really don’t like [name_f]Analeigh[/name_f]. I hear anally, and I think it’s too trendy/made up which makes it feel a bit tacky (no offense! I really hope that doesn’t seem rude as I’m not trying to be at all).
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] works technically, but it just doesn’t seem all that pretty. [name_f]Annaleigh[/name_f] I still don’t like for it’s made up quality, but it’s better than [name_f]Analeigh[/name_f].
All I can see is “anal.” Might be best to use another spelling.
