What do you think of April?

Been changing my girls list a lot. Currently TTC and as a name enthusiast obviously become obsessive about names! Me & my partner have come to a decision that if we were to have a boy his name would be [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] which is his favourite name. But girls he’s given me the reins so therefore I’ve become obsessed!! Anyways always loved [name_f]April[/name_f]. It’s fresh and happy sounding but what are your thoughts?

Thank you for responses!

I’ve never been a fan of it. The “Ap” part in the beginning bothers me because it makes me think of Apes.

Not a huge fan of [name_f]April[/name_f], I find it a bit harsh on the ears. Of the names in your signature, I much prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and [name_f]Helena[/name_f].

[name_f]April[/name_f] reminds me of the character in [name_m]Parks[/name_m] and Rec and I love that show!

I think it is happy and pretty and feminine. I have never known an [name_f]April[/name_f] in real life, but I would love to meet one!

I don’t mind [name_f]April[/name_f], but I much prefer the spunky [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and the soft, sweet [name_f]Willow[/name_f] from your signature!

I like it – it reminds me of fresh spring days.

I like it.

I like it. It feels like springtime, fresh and with [name_f]April[/name_f] blossoms. I know two women named [name_f]April[/name_f] and I think it has worked well for them.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the fresh, crisp yet warm feel of [name_f]April[/name_f]! It’s familiar but underused:)

Never liked [name_f]April[/name_f]. Also it became trendy in the 1980’s so it’s dated in my opinion.
