Daughter #3 has arrived! We are trying to find a meaningful name for her.
We really love the symbolism of the sparrow. They are very hard working birds and in the Japanese culture symbolize loyalty. They are also mentioned in the bible that God is mindful of the sparrow and knows when even one sparrow falls.

I love [name]Claire[/name]… but [name]Sparrow[/name] after a one syllable first name reminds me of [name]Captain[/name] [name]Jack[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name]. I don’t think I’d have this association with multiple syllables in the first name. Ie: [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name], [name]Morgan[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name], [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name], etc. Good luck!

While the flow of the combo isn’t ideal, I think that can be overlooked if the name means a lot to you and your family. If you love [name]Claire[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name], then go for it!
I actually think it sounds really sweet. [name]Sparrow[/name] is a little out there for my taste but I just wouldn’t be brave enough but it really sounds sweet and I love the meaning. Congrats!!

I love it! And I don’t hear the [name]Jack[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name] connection at all. It also makes me think of one of the [name]Doctor[/name]'s most awesome almost-companions, [name]Sally[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name].
