I think it’s beautiful and classic, and I like the nickname [name_f]Em[/name_f]/[name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I’m worried about the pronunciation ([name_f]Em[/name_f]-uh-line? [name_f]Em[/name_f]-uh-lin? I dislike [name_f]Em[/name_f]-uh-leen) and the repetition of letters (our other daughter is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]). [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is common, too, but I’m okay with that. Also, we originally liked [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] a middle name, but I think [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is extremely long, as I typically like a balance between short and long names. Our other mn options were [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] and [name_u]Lyn[/name_u] and those sound a bit awkward with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. So what do you think?
