It’s an usual name where we live (Australia) so not sure what the reaction would be here but do you like it? [name]Do[/name] you think it goes with a sibling called [name]Agatha[/name]?
Thank you!

I love it.
It is old-fashioned but it’s simple, so I think it works. My sister prefers [name]Ezekiel[/name], (I think because she also likes [name]Zeke[/name] as a NN) but I don’t.
So I don’t know how it would be perceived by the Average Australian but I’m in [name]Sydney[/name] and I adore it and my husband is okay with it, though he prefers [name]Emmett[/name].
I also like [name]Eli[/name], but not [name]Elijah[/name].
I love it as well. It’s so full of personality.
I like [name]Emmett[/name] too Stripedsocks! Old-fashioned is one of our criteria
Thanks southern.maple, it does have a real edge doesn’t it.
I love it !
I love [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Ezekiel[/name] ( a younger cousin) and [name]Emmett[/name]! They are all great!
I love it! I’m in Australia and find it unusual but not too shocking/unexpected or confusing! My very picky husband also likes it and he baulks at any name he thinks is ‘too weird’
Thanks for all the positive feedback! It’s good to hear it doesn’t strike you (or your husband) as too “out there” circus. I thought my husband might also baulk but he surprised me by really liking it.
[name]Love[/name] it. I think it goes great with [name]Agatha[/name]–both old-fashioned names.
I love [name]Ezra[/name], it’s our top boys name
I absolutely love [name]Ezra[/name], but I don’t have the guts to use it. It’s so raw sounding and very manly, even if it ends in an ‘a’. I love biblical names- this has to be one of my favorites!
I love it. If my sister hadn’t already called dibs on it, it’d probably be higher up on my own list. As it is, it’s a MN for a combo on the lower half of my top 10 ([name]Spencer[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Gray[/name]). I love it. I think [name]Agatha[/name] and [name]Ezra[/name] would be adorable together.
I really really like it. For me personally I feel it’s too risky of a name, but I do love it and it goes with [name]Agatha[/name] very well!
I know what you mean about needing to be brave to use it but we had to be quite brave with [name]Agatha[/name] too so we’ve had some practice It has a cool edge while still being traditional I think.
