[name]Felicity[/name] is 4 months old now and I’m still trying to fall in a nn for her. Not that I don’t love calling her by her whole name but still. So what do you think of Flixy? Am I crazy or is it interesting and believable?

I really love Filly (like a young girl horse. sounds wild, and free spirited to me.)
Flixy is kind of odd. imo.
My brother loves Filly. Lol. But it makes DH think of [name]Philly[/name] Cheese Steak. 
awwwww that could be their thing! lol [name]Every[/name] year or month or whatever, they can go out and get [name]Philly[/name] Cheese Steaks. 
I prefer Fliss and [name]Floss[/name]. They’re both so sweet. Flic/Flixy I’m not a fan of.

My favorite nickname for [name]Felicity[/name] is Fliss but Flixy is really, really cute!

I’ve heard of [name]Flick[/name] before as a short name for [name]Felicity[/name] (from the Australian soap ‘Neighbours’) so I don’t see why Flixy can’t work.
Flixy is so incredibly adorable! Hopefully I can explain this so that it makes sense… To me Flixy seems almost as “hard” to say as [name]Felicity[/name], so I don’t see it as a shortened nn per se, but just as a super cute pet name. [name]Don[/name]'t get me wrong, [name]Felicity[/name] is my second favorite girls name and I absolutely love it, but I just think [name]Fee[/name]/Fi or Lissy seem more like nicknames for it. Of course if you don’t like any of those then by all means just call her Flixy because it really is adorable! =]
I think Flixie is ok, other options are:
Flicka
[name]Flossie[/name]
[name]Lissie[/name]
or
[name]Lissa[/name]
It seems a little contrived to me, I think it’s the xy combination.
I like Flicka, a little more down-to-earth.
Im not keen on Flixy but thats just my opinion. We call our friend Licity! Pronounced Lissety. Or just Liss. xx

Eh. I was thinking more for just a baby nn. Not something for her to keep forever. We do call her Lissy a lot. Lissy, Lissy girl, Lissy [name]Lou[/name], Miss Liss. I like Flicka but for DH the horse association is just too strong. I love her name. I just want her nn to be as special as she is.
I think [name]Fee[/name]/Fi etc (rhymes with bee/[name]Bea[/name]) which is popular for [name]Fiona[/name] and [name]Phoebe[/name] as a nn is very cute for a [name]Felicity[/name] too.
I don’t like it at all, but it’s in your right to call her that.
