Too trendy/boyish? Or pretty for a girl? Anyone with young kids know how popular it is these days? Thanks!
All the -ayden names are too trendy for me ([name]Aidan[/name], [name]Brayden[/name], [name]Caden[/name], [name]Hayden[/name], etc.). They’re so boring and destined to sound dated. They’re the [name]Jennifer[/name] of this generation. Whenever I hear a little baby [name]Jaden[/name]/[name]Kaden[/name]/whatever, I just kind of go ugh. There’s no other name they liked? But to each his own.
All of the -aden names are already sounding tired and dated to me. [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Hayden[/name], [name]Jayden[/name], [name]Caden[/name], [name]Zayden[/name], etc are EVERYWHERE.
All the Haydens I have known have been boys (I’ve only known 2-3). Where I come from, it is a mountain peak, which I like because it reminds me of one of my favorite places in the world, the mountains and some specific camping areas. I know I wouldn’t use it for a girl, but I also wouldn’t be surprised at someone else using it for a girl. Keep it on the maybe list, or use it for a middle.

I’m not a fan, would you consider [name]Hailey[/name]/[name]Hayley[/name] instead?
