What do you think of Jensen?

We’re trying to find a boy name to be our #2 boy name. I really want [name_m]Silas[/name_m] or [name_m]Soren[/name_m] but now FI says no to those. He always breaks my name loving heart. We were looking at names last night and now we’re kind of tossing around [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]. I like it but I’m having trouble trying to decide if I love it enough to really use it. Possible future siblings could be [name_m]Foster[/name_m], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

What do you think of [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]? Does it fit with our other choices? [name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for some honest input :slight_smile:

I like it. It’s a nice alternative to [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]. I imagine [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] as handsome, laid back, very friendly, and maybe a little nerdy (in a good way!). I could easily see [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] with [name_m]Foster[/name_m], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], and/or [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

Of course, I’m also biased because I spend a lot of time drooling over [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] Ackles. :wink:

I think of Supernatural. It’s a nice name, but it’s also a very strong association (though it’s a good one).

[name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] would make wonderful names for brothers. [name_m]Foster[/name_m], [name_u]Jensen[/name_u], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] are great together. I really like [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]. I actually have it on my long list. I have too many loves on my short list to bring it up on that list though.

I like [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] - it seems classic, yet slightly scandinavian. It’s very chic - I say go for it!

[name_u]Jensen[/name_u] is very unisex. There is [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] Ackles drool and there was a soap star named [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_m]Buchanan[/name_m] on Another World (female). I also have a co-worker with a teenage daughter with this name.
Honestly, [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] is not masculine sounding. I love [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] Ackles, but not his name. [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] are masculine sounding. I am surprised that you are considering [name_u]Jensen[/name_u].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]?

That’s the thing holding me back from [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]. I’m not usually one for unisex names on boys and I worry about people shortening it to “[name_f]Jen[/name_f]”. I do like the name but I’m not sure I could ever really use it.

I love [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]! It’s on my list but FI says no. I’m really working on getting him to like [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. He used to hate [name_m]Foster[/name_m] but I kept saying it all the time and he eventually grew to love it and now it’s his favorite. I’m hoping I can do that again with [name_m]Silas[/name_m] or [name_m]Soren[/name_m] lol.

I may just been a Supernatural fan, but I instantly think of [name_m]Jenson[/name_m] Ackles from Supernatural…not to say that’s a bad connotation…
(The actor who plays [name_u]Dean[/name_u] Winchester in the series)
