What do you think of the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u]? What do you think a [name_u]Jude[/name_u] would look or act like? Any downfalls of the name?
I love [name_u]Jude[/name_u]! Absolutely gorgeous name. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] could suit a lot of people which is one of the reasons I love it - it’s got the music connection, it’s got the religious connection if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s got the Hollywood glamour connection… But also would feel totally at home in a rustic or official/governmental context.

I really love the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. It’s simple, uncommon, and has a lot of character. I prefer [name_m]Judah[/name_m] or [name_m]Judas[/name_m] (but for religious reasons people look down on using the name [name_m]Judas[/name_m] so I picked [name_m]Judah[/name_m]). I think paired with a long, stronger name it could be a great name :). I’ve known a couple [name_u]Jude[/name_u]’s and all of the have been sweethearts. They’ve also been quiet and reserved, but the name fits that kind of demeanor.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] is a great name! It’s short but very strong. I can picture this name for all ages.
I really like [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. It’s a cool name. As someone already mentioned, the only “downfall” is the heavy association with the Beatles song.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] this name, for a girl mostly, but on a boy too. Downfalls are the yellow badge (holocaust). I do not think of that when I hear this name, but have heard it mentioned on forums so some people obviously do. I’ve also read comments about it’s association with the name [name_m]Judas[/name_m] ([name_u]Jude[/name_u] is short for [name_m]Judas[/name_m], but ALSO for [name_m]Judah[/name_m] and [name_f]Judith[/name_f] which are widely used names). Another downfall is that I don’t think it sounds great or works in some other languages - not the most international name.
I love [name_u]Jude[/name_u]! [name_m]Judah[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is our top pick for a son. I picture a quiet little boy - who will grow up to be a “strong, silent type” - with dark curly hair and a great smile.
I’ve only ever really thought of [name_u]Jude[/name_u] as a middle name, but it makes a nice first name as well if paired with a longer middle name. It’s cute!
