What do you think of Julian?

We are narrowing down our name for baby boy number two and we are both really liking [name_m]Julian[/name_m].

But what do you think of it when paired with big brother [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]?

[name_m]Ryder[/name_m] is a cool, strong name. Can [name_m]Julian[/name_m] stand up with it?

Please help!

really dislike [name_m]Ryder[/name_m].

Real question: Can [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] stand up to [name_m]Julian[/name_m]!

I think the names go great together.

I really like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] (recently added to my list) and I think it’s fine paired with [name_m]Ryder[/name_m].

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] has always seemed too soft and feminine to me, but maybe that’s because my name is a [name_m]Julian[/name_m] derivative

I like [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. It’s a lot gentler than [name_m]Ryder[/name_m], though.

I love [name_m]Julian[/name_m]! It was on my list for a while but I can’t bring myself to like any of the nicknames. I think it goes ok with [name_m]Ryder[/name_m], but the combo could be better.

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] is a wonderful name, and I believe it goes well with [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. : )

I love [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. It’s certainly not the first name I would think of in a sib set with [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] but it is not a strange choice. I think you get a feel for your child’s personality when you carry them. If he feels like a [name_m]Julian[/name_m] then that is his name.

I agree that [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sounds soft and feminine. I don’t think it matches in style with [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. Maybe [name_m]Silas[/name_m] or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] would pair better. I’d definitely go with something edgier.
