I did the [name]Keith[/name] poll yesterday [name]Keith[/name] and [name]Kirk[/name] are the only K names I like. I decided to keep [name]Keith[/name]. Now I would like honest opioins on [name]Kirk[/name]. I really love [name]Curt[/name] and [name]Curtis[/name] so when I say [name]Kirk[/name] I feel like I meant to say [name]Curt[/name] (which I know I [name]LOVE[/name] this name). What do you think of [name]Kirk[/name]?
All I can think of is [name]Captain[/name] [name]Kirk[/name]
As a first name, my first association is [name]Kirk[/name] [name]Douglas[/name].
I like it - short, strong, familiar but now rare.
[name]Kirk[/name] is very nice, an excellent choice.

Not a fan of [name]Kirk[/name], although makes me think of [name]Kirk[/name] [name]Cameron[/name], and I like him 
The first thing that comes into my mind is [name]Captain[/name] [name]Kirk[/name], then Spock, then him holding up his hand in that funny way and saying “Live [name]Long[/name] and [name]Prosper[/name].”
Being a nerd who loves [name]Star[/name] Trek, that doesn’t bother me too much, but it might not be the best connotation. I love the name [name]Keith[/name] so much, though.
I really like it, and would consider it myself if my last name didn’t start with the /k/ sound. My first thought when I hear it is [name]Kirk[/name] [name]Cameron[/name], but I had a big crush on him when I was younger, so I don’t think it’s a bad association. I then think of [name]Kirk[/name] [name]Douglas[/name], and I don’t think that’s bad either. I’m not a [name]Star[/name] Trek watcher, so even though I’m aware of [name]Captain[/name] [name]Kirk[/name], I don’t automatically think of him.
