Plz help me, i am so torn on a name for our baby girl. this is baby #4 she will be joining her brothers and sister [name]Carlos[/name], [name]Mia[/name], and [name]Xavier[/name]. we like to keep our names friendly to the spanish and italian languages as well as of coarse here in the US. Our original choice was [name]Sofia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]. but, the more i walk around and hear “sophia” EVERYWHERE i turn the more it loses its appeal. i knew it was popular but, had no idea to this extent!!! i dont want my little girl to just get lost in a sea of sofia/sophia/sophie’s My second choice was [name]Lina[/name] ([name]LEE[/name]-[name]NUH[/name]) [name]Sofia[/name] (lol still got it in there heehee i think a mn is a better fit for it) what do you think? does it fit with the sibblings? also which spelling do you like [name]Lina[/name]/[name]Lena[/name]? i prefer [name]Lina[/name] bc it the traditional european spelling but wdyt? ty
love [name]Lina[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]!! so pretty!!
I prefer the spelling [name]Lena[/name] but as you indicated [name]Lina[/name] as European tradition it would make cultural sense to spell it this way and why it is a preference for you (:
[name]Lina[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] is a gorgeous name. I prefer the [name]Lina[/name] spelling because [name]Lena[/name] can be pronounced more than one way. [name]Lina[/name] goes perfectly with your other kinda names imo.
[name]Hi[/name]!
I agree with the previous posters: [name]Lina[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] is gorgeous! It’s perfect with [name]Carlos[/name], [name]Mia[/name], and [name]Xavier[/name]. I like the [name]Lena[/name] spelling, but [name]Lina[/name] is easier to pronounce and goes a bit better with your kids’ names…
Good luck!
I have nothing against the name exactly…but [name]Lia[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is a popular jewelry line that people sell. That is the first thing that popped into my head. www.liasophia.com
Absolutely gorgeous. Unusual. Nice to see a pretty unusual name.
[name]Hi[/name]!
My name is [name]Lina[/name]! (pronounced [name]LEE[/name]-nuh as well My parents chose it not only because it was my grandmother’s name but also because they loved its feminine simplicity. I used to really not like my name but now I’ve started to warm up to it and would suggest it. [name]Sofia[/name] (I also prefer this spelling) is just too popular for me as a first name but it is beautiful in the mn spot! As for the spelling of [name]Lina[/name], I like it with an I as that is the traditional Italian/Spanish spelling. When I see [name]Lena[/name], I automatically think it is pronounced ([name]LAY[/name]-nuh)
Good luck!
