What do you think of my current faves?

[name]Hi[/name] all, I have been off Nameberry for a while, because I’ve been so busy! [name]Eli[/name] is doing great, and my bf’s family was visiting yesterday. They think he’s adorable!! <3

Anyways, I have some fave names, and I was wondering what you all think of them?! No hurt feelings if you don’t like them!!

Blaire (girl) I think this is cute, and very girly!! Middle names, please?
Claire (girl) I know, it matches with Blaire, but I still love it. This one is real cute too, but they could never be used as sisters or anything!!
Cairo (girl) I am liking this lately, although place names are not normally my fave. I don’t think I would use it though, not sure though!!
Lauryn Anabel (girl0 J.R. Martienz just had a daughter with this name, and I’m in love! <3
Yara (girl) Not exactly sure how to pronounce this, I kinda pronounce it Yahr-ah…?

Any suggestions?! ?!

[name]Blaire[/name] (girl) - I know a few Blaires. I think it’s a very mature, nice name. [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Kira[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Helena[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Emily[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] (girl) - [name]One[/name] of my favorites too. really pretty and simple, but common
[name]Cairo[/name] (girl) - I think it’s very cool.
[name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] (girl) - Hm, I prefer spelling [name]Lauren[/name], but [name]Annabel[/name] is gorgeous
[name]Yara[/name] (girl) - Not my style

[name]Love[/name] your boys list!

[name]Blaire[/name] (girl) - meh, sounds kinda soap opera-ish to me.
[name]Claire[/name] (girl) - I like it, but I prefer [name]Clara[/name]
[name]Cairo[/name] (girl) - The problem is not knowing how to pronounce it Care-o or [name]Kai[/name]-ro. It’s a pretty name but I would probably change the spelling.
[name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] (girl) - pretty, simple and nice with a spin.
[name]Yara[/name] (girl) - meh, so many other -ara names that are nice, [name]Yara[/name] just sounds like noise

[name]Blaire[/name] - I’m personally not a fan. But if I had to compromise, [name]Blaire[/name] would be a middle name.
[name]Claire[/name] is a nice name. I like the -aire spelling better than the -are one. But I think [name]Clarabelle[/name] is kind of sweet.
[name]Cairo[/name] is a cool place name for a real name. I’m not usually into the place names trend either but it’s an interesting choice. This would stick out in a class roster.
[name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Anabel[/name] is nice. The -yn ending makes [name]Lauren[/name] a little more up-to-date. It’s a solid name.
[name]Yara[/name]… I’d pronounce it like “Yahr-ah” too.

You seem to really like the vowels: a, i, and e together. And you’re a fan of the letter C. Hmm…

[name]Ciara[/name] is a boy name but you may like it.
It was used for the music artist, [name]Ciara[/name] (see-air-ah; like “[name]Sierra[/name] [name]Nevada[/name]”).
But I’ve heard it pronounced: “see-ahr-ah”.

[name]Cairo[/name] for a girl was my top name when I was in high school. It’s still my favorite place name, but I don’t know if I would use it now. It’s really cool though!

[name]Blaire[/name] I love, [name]Claire[/name] is another favourite. [name]Cairo[/name] is not too bad, it’s okay. [name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Anabel[/name] is so nms. [name]Yara[/name] sounds silly to m.e

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. I really like [name]Lauren[/name], spelled like this. What about [name]Laurel[/name] as a less popular alternative? I also like [name]Blaire[/name] but I think I prefer it spelled [name]Blair[/name]. But I go back and forth on that, haha. I don’t really like place names all that much so I don’t like [name]Cairo[/name]. [name]Yara[/name] isn’t really attractive to me, sorry.

[name]Claire[/name] is my favorite of your list - second place would probably be [name]Yara[/name], which no one else seems to like but I think it’s cute. I really like names with “Y” beginnings, and it’s similar to the popular [name]Mara[/name]. I prefer [name]Lauryn[/name] spelled [name]Lauren[/name], although the way you have it does remind me of [name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Hill[/name], who is awesome! [name]Blaire[/name] and [name]Cairo[/name] are not really my style.

Others you might like: [name]Carys[/name], [name]Cleo[/name], [name]Iona[/name], [name]Liza[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Zoe[/name]?

[name]Blaire[/name] (girl) I think this is cute, and very girly!! Middle names, please?
I don’t really like [name]Blair[/name] or [name]Blaire[/name] on boys or girls. [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]…[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name].

[name]Claire[/name] (girl) - it’s a very nice name. Rhymes with [name]Blaire[/name], but different feel - more classic and feminine.

[name]Cairo[/name] - I see this as either a boys’ or a girls’ name. It’s not really my style - maybe as a middle name.

[name]Lauryn[/name] [name]Anabel[/name] - I have always liked the name [name]Lauren[/name] -It’s been popular for so long that I don’t feel it’s “dated” or trendy. not crazy about the Y spelling. [name]Love[/name] [name]Anabel[/name] (I spell it [name]Annabel[/name], though). and the combination is nice.

[name]Yara[/name] - I would say "Yahr-ah) too. I’ts okay.

I love [name]Claire[/name] but am a bit biased…to me [name]Claire[/name] is classic and sweet and [name]Blaire[/name] is snotty and very upper east side ( NY)
I love [name]Lauren[/name] [name]Anabel[/name], not a fan of Y instead of E

I like [name]Claire[/name] from your list.

[name]Blaire[/name] isn’t my style. [name]Cairo[/name] reminds me of Karo syrup. [name]Lauryn[/name] is a very trendy way of spelling names, [name]Lauren[/name] is much better. I love [name]Anabell[/name]. [name]Yara[/name] I just don’t like.

[name]Blaire[/name] (girl) - I like this one. Simple and elegant. [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Katrina[/name], [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Ramona[/name] possibly? I’d use something girly and more than one syllable.
[name]Claire[/name] (girl) - I prefer [name]Blaire[/name]. I love [name]Clara[/name], but [name]Claire[/name] (though pretty- I do like its sound) just seems a bit overdone to me. However, [name]Claire[/name] [name]Elaine[/name], [name]Claire[/name] [name]Persephone[/name], [name]Claire[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] all sound nice.
[name]Cairo[/name] (girl)- again, I like the sound of this name, although the “o” ending is kind of masculine. I’d again do a girly middle name. [name]Cairo[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name], [name]Cairo[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Cairo[/name] [name]Florence[/name], etc.
[name]Yara[/name] (girl) - I haven’t heard this one much. I suppose [name]Yara[/name] [name]Elise[/name], [name]Yara[/name] [name]Forsythia[/name], [name]Yara[/name] [name]Elisabet[/name], [name]Yara[/name] [name]Elspeth[/name], [name]Yara[/name] [name]Anne[/name] - something feminine and elegant and recognizable to balance it.

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Blaire[/name]! [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Cairo[/name] flows nicely and [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Anabel[/name] is also cute.
Good luck!

Thank-you everyone for your great responses! I also like [name]Katrina[/name] with the nickname [name]Kit[/name], or [name]Kitty[/name]! [name]Yara[/name] is very sweet, any middle name suggestions? BTW, not expecting, just exploring!!
