What do you think of my names?

[name_u]Joyce[/name_u], [name_f]Macy[/name_f], [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] (pronounced jean), [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_m]Mackson[/name_m], [name_u]Elias[/name_u], and [name_m]Randolph[/name_m] are connected to family. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] relates to the last name. [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are connected to memories and named for people. Does [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] clash with the other boy names? Could [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] go by AJ without [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] going by MJ? [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] would go by [name_m]Zach[/name_m] (pronounced zak).

[name_f]Amy[/name_f] (AJ?), [name_f]Macy[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]
[name_m]Clark[/name_m], [name_m]Mack[/name_m], [name_m]Roger[/name_m], [name_m]Zach[/name_m]

Are these horrible with too much rhyming? Any suggestions? How would you fit Joel into these names; what name would you replace with Joel?

[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u]- It’s very pretty, but it sounds a little 70s to me.
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]- Very sweet.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]- Gorgeous.
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] is a little too out there.

I feel like [name_f]Amy[/name_f] and [name_f]Macy[/name_f] are too similar to be sisters. The same goes for [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]. If you want [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] to go by AJ, please don’t make [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] go by MJ! That’s ridiculous.

What if you used [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u], [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] [name_f]Macy[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]? Or [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f], and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]? It has more of a sound balance, if you know what I mean.

[name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]- Fantastic!
[name_m]Mackson[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]- I love [name_u]Dean[/name_u], but I really dislike [name_m]Mackson[/name_m]. I realize it’s a family name, but maybe you could honor it a different way. [name_m]Macaulay[/name_m], [name_m]Macallister[/name_m], or [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]?
[name_m]Roger[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u]- [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is great. [name_m]Roger[/name_m] sounds dated.
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_m]Randolph[/name_m]- [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is okay. I feel like it’s too overused. [name_m]Randolph[/name_m] is great.

Brothers [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] and [name_m]Zach[/name_m] are too rhyme-y. Added in with [name_m]Clark[/name_m], there’s a lot of “k”. And while [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Roger[/name_m] and similar enough in style, [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] sound out of place.

I really love all of your middle choices. What if you reversed some of the names? [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m], [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Mackson[/name_m], [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Roger[/name_m], and [name_m]Randolph[/name_m] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] sounds great!

I love [name_m]Joel[/name_m] as well. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m], [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m], [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Mackson[/name_m], and [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Joel[/name_m] are all handsome pairings.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], lots of great names! I think my favs would have to be [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] (or maybe [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would work too), & I’m not a fan of any of the boy combinations (sorry) but [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] sounds good I think. I agree with rowgeesee that AJ & MJ would be too much & with [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] & [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] you’d end up with [name_m]Zack[/name_m] & [name_m]Mack[/name_m] which are too same-same so I’d stay away from these as sibsets if I were you.

I also think [name_f]Amy[/name_f]/[name_f]Macy[/name_f] are a bit too close sounding to be used in a sibset. Same with [name_f]Stella[/name_f]/[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] and [name_m]Clark[/name_m]/[name_m]Mack[/name_m]/[name_m]Zach[/name_m].
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are really sweet together tho. [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]! Ooo, and I like the daringness (if that’s a word:)) of [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], soo spunky! I don’t have anything to say for [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] except that I do think nn AJ is cute. Different. I definitely don’t think [name_f]Macy[/name_f] would have to by MJ. AJ is more of an established nn in my mind, so it would come more naturally then MJ.
I like your boys names! [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] (I love [name_m]Mack[/name_m]), [name_m]Roger[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] (yay for [name_m]Roger[/name_m], if you need a lovely nn try [name_f]Roe[/name_f]) and [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_m]Randolph[/name_m] (I have random and hilarious [name_m]Randolph[/name_m] connections which make me love this:)) are wonderfully spunky and exciting. Nice choices. Hmm, not sure what I’d do with [name_m]Joel[/name_m]. [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is probably my least favourite on your list so possibly [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]? [name_m]Mackson[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m] seems ok. Then I’d switch [name_u]Dean[/name_u] over to [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] maybe… All the best.

My daughter is [name_f]Amy[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f] and were considering [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] for our next one.

[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] & [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] are also on our list.
