I love [name_f]Iona[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]! I think it fits beautifully with your other combos. I could definitely see sisters [name_f]Mayim[/name_f] [name_f]Astara[/name_f] and [name_f]Iona[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]! I would rate it a 9/10 for you. I don’t like it that much for myself, but I love it for you!
Beautiful combo! Flows great, elegant with a spunk. I love meanings paired together -“blessed”& “the bay of laurel plant”, lovely imagery. I think it fits well with your other combos and I would rate it 8/10 (not 10 just because I’m personally not a fan of [name_u]Laurel[/name_u], but [name_f]Ione[/name_f] is one of my favourite names)
Iona [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] is beautiful! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], pretty, full of energy and personality–definitely a memorable combo. I would rate it an 8/10; [name_f]Ione[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] would be a 9 from me! The only reason it wouldn’t be a 10 with that variation is I don’t quite completely love [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. I do really, really like it in this pairing though!
It’s so beautiful! I’m not usually that into [name_f]Iona[/name_f]. I appreciate it, in that it’s an interesting old fashioned sounding strong feminine name. I just don’t personally love the sound that much. That being said, this combo is super gorgeous. I love [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. It’s an underused gem. And I think that this combo fits in great w/your UC girls. It gives off a smart, no nonsense yet kind, slightly mysterious vibe.
I’m assuming you’re pronouncing [name_f]Iona[/name_f] eye-OH-na? [name_u]Or[/name_u] ee-OH-na? I find the “eye” pronunciation a bit harsh-sounding but I like the “ee” pronunciation.
Either way, the combo has a great rhythm. The names feel like they fit together in some vague way to me, and I love seeing [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] anywhere. I’d personally prefer [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] as [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is one of those family-names-I-love-but-can’t-use for me.
This is a really cool combo! [name_f]Iona[/name_f] is a cool I name and [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] gives it a fun nature vibe! I think it fits with your other names. It has a very sunflower field, laid-back, paisley dresses type vibe to it.
I love [name_f]Iona[/name_f], such a lot of syllables and general atmosphere packed into four short letters.
Laurel is also lovely and I think well due a comeback. I personally slightly prefer it for a boy (nn [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] ) but it’s great for a girl too.
However, I have the same problem with this combo as I do with [name_f]Iona[/name_f] + our nouny surname. When combined with a word name, I just hear [name_f]Iona[/name_f] as “I own a ([name_u]Laurel[/name_u])”. Obviously it’s not embarrassing or offensive or anything like that, but it would bug me so I’ve had to accept [name_f]Iona[/name_f] is off our list. Sniff
But it may not bother you! I do like the flow and general vibe.
