What are your opinions on my top names? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they would work together as a sibset? (Not that I am planning on having six children.) Are there any you would get rid of, or do you have any other suggestions that would work well with these names?
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
EDIT: The first poster suggested adding Coralie to my list, and I love it enough to add it to my list. I wouldn’t use both Rosalie and Coralie though, so which one do you prefer?
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
P.S. I know all of these names are fairly popular, but popularity doesn’t really bother me.
I like all of your names except [name_f]Stella[/name_f], to me it just doesn’t have the same soft flow as the others. I think my favorite is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] I just think it flows beautifully.
@tschiraldi - Thanks! I can see what you are saying about [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. It’s a name I keep going back and forth on, and may be moved to the middle spot. I’ve never thought of [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] before, but I love it!
I think a lot of them work well together! I tried to match them up but I ended up putting every name with [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] haha I like the addition of [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] but would definitely chose between that or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], not both (I vote [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], it seems younger & fresher).
@lcd1912 - Thanks! I agree with you about not using [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] together. I am definitely adding [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] to my list!
I like them all and think they could all work as a sibset, except for [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. I still like [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but it doesn’t work as a first name for the sibset [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Also I prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] to [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I think they are great together. In preferred order:
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] - love, love, love it!
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - love it.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - like it. It always seems to show up with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and/or [name_f]Isabella[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] - it’s nice
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] - I used to hate it, but it is growing on me.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - it’s ok.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - I’m not a fan.
I love [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and adore [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I have all six on my list. I feel neutral about [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. I slightly prefer [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] - all classic yet contemporary. I like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] but prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - I tend to like names that end in “a” for girls and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] sounds a tiny bit more complete to me than [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].
None of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] is really my taste at all - I think that although I see them a lot on name boards, I haven’t met any young girls with these names so although I know they’re on the rise, I still kind of think of them as “old lady” names. I imagine this will change if these names are gaining in popularity.
Beautiful names. my least favorite is [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]–i’m not sure why, I’ve just never really liked this name. I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and other variations though. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] used to feel bland to me, but it has grown on me a lot. Still maybe not as special as some of your other choices though.
[name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorites are [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. Unfortunately for me, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are both out as i have a cat named [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and a niece named [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. (these are actually both fortunate things not unfortunate! :)) I like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], but prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] are other options.
I really like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and think they would make lovely sisters. Like @lcd1912 said [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] really does go with everything. I much prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] to [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], have you considered just [name_f]Cora[/name_f]? [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is one of my favorite combos. I also wouldn’t use [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]. I could see [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as sisters with simliar popularity and they just sound nice together. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Stella[/name_f] with your other girl names or [name_f]Elena[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] are perfect together! [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is the one that stands out to me, it just doesn’t have the same vibe as the others.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] are both lovely, and although I prefer the latter [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] seems a better fit.
I like that all of the names have sweet nickname, apart from [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] but that doesn’t really need one. You could have [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Issie[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].
