[name]Archer[/name]–I like this name but am not in love with it. However, as occupational names go, I think it is a cute one!
[name]Cohen[/name]–I do adore this name, but there seems to be a lot of controversy about using it, something having to do with offending the Jewish?
[name]Ezra[/name]–I once worked with a little boy named [name]Ezra[/name]. For some reason, even though I knew a boy with this name, it still always seems feminine in nature to me!
[name]Miles[/name]–[name]One[/name] of my tops as well! I used to nanny for a baby [name]Miles[/name], and have loved the name ever since.
[name]Cyrus[/name]–This name reminds me of my boyfriend’s parents former dog who was named [name]Cyrus[/name].
[name]Luther[/name]–I don’t see this one often. It reminds me of the name [name]Lucifer[/name] I think, and seems sort of ‘evil’ to me because of the similar sound between the 2 names, I suppose.
[name]Calvin[/name]–It doesn’t thrill me. It’s all right, I think [name]Cal[/name] or [name]Vin[/name]/[name]Vinnie[/name] are pretty cute nn’s.
[name]Graham[/name]–This name also reminds me of an animal; a Thoroughbred horse named [name]Graham[/name] that my trainer rescued from a horrible environment.
[name]Lincoln[/name]–[name]LOVE[/name]!!! I also adore the nn ‘[name]Linc[/name]’.
[name]Vaughn[/name]–My mind just says ‘[name]Vince[/name]’, as in the actor [name]Vince[/name] [name]Vaughn[/name].
[name]Archer[/name] - Like it but prefer [name]Ari[/name] or [name]Arthur[/name].
[name]Cohen[/name] - This is not a name I think anyone should use as a given name. It has a pleasant sound but its the same sort of sound of [name]Rowan[/name]/[name]Ronan[/name]/[name]Linden[/name]/[name]Lincoln[/name] and none of those are religiously offensive. Also it became trendy as a FN via the O.C. and it will date.
[name]Ezra[/name] - I love this. I don’t think it is feminine name at all but I’m used to it.
[name]Miles[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this too.
[name]Cyrus[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this, can’t convince husband to go for it.
[name]Luther[/name] - Not a big fan.
[name]Calvin[/name] - Like it, but prefer [name]Callum[/name] or [name]Colin[/name]. [name]Cal[/name] is a nice nickname though.
[name]Graham[/name] - Dislike, but I know some dreadful Grahams.
[name]Lincoln[/name] - [name]Pleasant[/name] enough, I am not keen on the NN [name]Link[/name] though.
[name]Vaughn[/name] - Like, but prefer [name]Vasili[/name]/[name]Victor[/name]/[name]Vincent[/name].
[name]Archer[/name] - I like it, but much prefer [name]Asher[/name], personally.
[name]Cohen[/name] - I really love the sound and look of [name]Cohen[/name], but as @stripedsocks mentioned, [name]Cohen[/name] is quite religiously offensive, and I know and respect too many Jews to ever use it.
[name]Ezra[/name] - love! It’s a MN on my own list.
[name]Miles[/name] - I’ve come to respect it, and even sort of like it, but I don’t love it. I like [name]Milo[/name] so much more, but [name]Miles[/name] could be nice as a MN. I like the idea of [name]Everett[/name] [name]Miles[/name] or something.
[name]Cyrus[/name] - like a lot! I prefer it as a MN, but it could be a great FN, too.
[name]Luther[/name] - I sort of like it because of its jazzy feel, and I love that it reminds me of [name]Martin[/name] [name]Luther[/name] and [name]Martin[/name] [name]Luther[/name] [name]King[/name], [name]Jr[/name]., and I think the nn [name]Luke[/name] would be fun, but there’s something about it I just don’t love…
[name]Calvin[/name] - adore! I love it so much more than the similar [name]Callum[/name], [name]Callan[/name], [name]Colin[/name], etc. It’s so quirky and classic. I love meeting Calvins!
[name]Graham[/name] - I like it a lot, but I don’t love it.
[name]Lincoln[/name] - love. It keeps coming back to me, but I never add it to my list, haha. There’s just not room. But I do really love it. [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name] is one of my favorite historical figures ever, so I’d love to use this in honor of him someday. I like that the “L” initial could honor my grandpa, too.
[name]Vaughn[/name] - I want to like it, but something holds me back. The only [name]Vaughn[/name] I’ve met didn’t leave a particularly great impression on me, but Alias’s [name]Michael[/name] [name]Vaughn[/name] was pretty awesome, haha.
[name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Calvin[/name] are my favorites! I would love to see something like [name]Calvin[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] or [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Calvin[/name], even.
[name]Archer[/name] - love
[name]Cohen[/name] - love (but disrespectful to jewish people)
[name]Ezra[/name] - NMS
[name]Miles[/name] - NMS
[name]Cyrus[/name] _ as in miley?
[name]Luther[/name] - no
[name]Calvin[/name] - kind of cute
[name]Graham[/name] - blah
[name]Lincoln[/name] - NMS but ok
[name]Vaughn[/name] - love vaughn
[name]Archer[/name] – I like it. It’s cool and [name]Archie[/name] is cute
[name]Cohen[/name] – I’ve been hearing on here a lot about how it’s possibly religiously offensive to Jewish people. [name]Coen[/name] has virtually the same sound.
[name]Ezra[/name] – NMS but it’s not bad
[name]Miles[/name] – [name]Love[/name] this one. Handsome and mellow sounding
[name]Cyrus[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cy[/name] is a great nn and I just love this name
[name]Luther[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Luther[/name] too, handsome, but I prefer [name]Lex[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name] – I think of [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Hobbes[/name] and it’s nms
[name]Graham[/name] – [name]Love[/name] this one. Very nice and soft, but handsome
[name]Lincoln[/name] – I’ve never understood the appeal of this one, but I do love [name]Link[/name]
[name]Vaughn[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Vaughn[/name] too! My husband says though, that it makes you sound like [name]German[/name] royalty or something as in “[name]Von[/name] LastName” I still like it though
[name]Archer[/name] - My favorite! But I’m partial as it’s my sons
[name]Cohen[/name] - I don’t like the sound of it in general
[name]Ezra[/name] - Like and have met some very cute [name]Ezra[/name]'s!
[name]Miles[/name] - [name]Love[/name] but couldn’t use
[name]Cyrus[/name] - Too [name]Billie[/name] [name]Ray[/name] in my mind
[name]Luther[/name] - My family is Lutheran so this would be an odd choice since I don’t attend regularly, but cute
[name]Calvin[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]! But Hubby says [name]Archer[/name] “[name]Archie[/name]” and [name]Calvin[/name] is too comic book obsessed (I didn’t even know haha)
[name]Graham[/name] - Adorable! [name]One[/name] of my favorite on your life
[name]Lincoln[/name] - Very cute! But popular in my area
[name]Vaughn[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! But doesn’t work well with my ln
[name]Archer[/name]-a bit trendy for my taste, in the vein of [name]Mason[/name] and [name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Cohen[/name]-not my favorite…sounds too much like a last name
[name]Ezra[/name]-cute, but somehow doesn’t roll of the tongue? Are there nicknames?
[name]Miles[/name]-one of my favorites of this list. I also like [name]Milo[/name]
[name]Cyrus[/name]-[name]Miley[/name] and [name]Billy[/name] [name]Rae[/name] ruin it for me…
[name]Luther[/name]-makes me immediately think of [name]Lex[/name] or Lutherans
[name]Calvin[/name]-on my list, too. Like it a lot, but everyone thinks of [name]Hobbes[/name]. The meaning (bald) isn’t great
[name]Graham[/name]-sophisticated and masculine, but a little hard to say
[name]Lincoln[/name]-not bad
[name]Vaughn[/name]-For some reason doesn’t sound classy to me-[name]Vince[/name] issues, maybe?
